Golden on the radio

we only have one recruit that is planning on announcing at an all-star game....I really hope Golden isn't just bullsh*ttin or getting trolled.

I remember when Butch Davis first came to Miami and everyone had the same attitude. "he should of got this kid" "who the f is that kid he just got" "we need someone who can run this program the way it should" etc. Now all of you are doing the same bs here. They don't want to come here? Fu_ck em! They want to play against us? even better.. I so wish we played Arkansas. If I was Golden I would go out of my way to schedule them in so we can end his career.

but you know what? we got

Kc McDermott is is a beast and he is going to be all American
Yearby bit_ch slapped Matthew Thomas when they played and he is a VERY hard worker
Chad Thomas - give this guy 1 year in the Gym and endless supply of protein he will end up killing a QB during his college career
Kaaya - I am very excited to see what Olsen can do but I am VERY confident Kaaya is going to **** blow shi_t up
Valentine - For a long time we haven't been able to get a monster at this position now we have one and I am freaking excited!
Braxton Berrios - This kid is an athlete to the 10th degree. We will find a position for him and he is going to fu_ck with other teams secondaries.

my point? every single year, regardless how we are doing and who our coach is, we are not going to get 5 star recruits at every position. We want kids who are talented, have a high ceiling and most importantly love This U!

Great points, Kc McDermott could be one of the best Tackles to EVER play at Miami...it's too easy to forget about the studs we do HAVE committed

Cook tells everyone what they want to here. I bet all 3 coaches feel very good about him right now.

I don't believe Cook committed to all three schools. He seems like a respectful young man from his interview.

And remember on insidetheu how confident Yearby was. Imagine if Cook doesn't dcome here that interview makes Yearby look bad and the fact that I saw a tweet where Yearby said that he has the biggest influence on Cook out of everybody. That and his brother tweeting that he hopes to see him here makes me think Cook told them he's coming. I just don't see Cook allowing them to put their necks out like that for the wrong result

Just remember when people commit elsewhere hold your tears, y'all listening to some of these sources like they straight truth..

I am not a source and have no insider information. But today I heard Golden on WQAM on the Hurricane hotline clearly say that there was excitement with recruiting. That now you have kids that say coach I am committed to you but would like to hold off and announce at an all star game . It might not be Dalvin Cook.. but man… It sure sounded like he gave a hint. No names were specifically mention. Zagaki kept saying the "We know you are not allowed to talk about recruits by name " catchphrase and I bet he didn't even now that we can actually mention Cook by name because of the FAA papers. So basically Golden was able to be cryptic and all general as usual except for that one little tidbit that really caught my attention. So do I think Dalvin is coming as of now despite what all the insiders such as money, peter and Glory have said? Yes.. Yes I do !

Cook:

Wants to be a program changer
Wants to play with a team that's like family
will announce at the UA game
Brennan Tweets a "WELCOME TO THE U" when he visits and a caps lock one is for just signing the FAA papers?/ GTFO and he should be ashamed of himself if he did just for that.

So what was Golden selling Cook? Program changer i.e difference between needed and wanted, a chance to play with his boy Yearby, Darling and go to the same school as his brother plus appease the majority of his family that wants him here. Golden today mentions about recruits saying they are excited about the program and that now they are saying "coach I am committed but want to hold off for all star games and such". That sounds too much like a Dalvin Cook to me.

So why all the FSU Buzz? IMO Cook is playing it close to the vest. Notice how ppl keep saying Gators or Noles but not the Canes. isn't that fishy? When his "brother" Yearby is UM bound and in his ear? When he wants to play with family? Even nearby himself thinks he might end up a Cane per some of the insiders here, and lets not forget Yearby said his voice is the one that had the most influence with Cook. I think Yearby's injury was a blessing in disguise and my GUESS is that Cook is a Cane .

+rep for a well thought out post, even if it ends up not being correct. Legit possibility though. Well done, sir

Good post and I agree with you 100%. If Golden gets him then it will be his biggest get yet IMO because this was someone we never thought we could get until recently.

The only thing im gonna do is hold my excitement because Ive followed recruiting for a long time and while yes hes saying things like "wanting it to be like central" would make us the logical choice because we have his 2 teammates committed to us, We have all seen recruits say something like "Miami is my dream school" and go to a rival school... recruiting makes no sense sometimes....

Great post, I think most people aren't thinking around everything but looking at the FSU momentum and rolling with that but all the things I been reading from the Cook interview, Burnett and Yearbys comments make me think Cane and I will stick with it just like you bruh, hope we're right!
