Golden sounds lost, confused, disappointed, depressed, and he has NO ANSWERS. A broken record interview for the past 4.5 years. He should be FIRED TODAY just like Philbin. He is a complete embarrassment to the University, the Community, his players, and the fan base. Thought he was talking from a funeral.

Everyone including Al knows he should have been fired last year.

He is the lamest of all ducks.
 
Can only imagine how his wife feels. I would imagine they badly want out of sout fl. Very doubtful he ever coaches at a major program.
 
He knows his firing is inevitable and he's probably shocked it hasn't happened already. Going through the motions at this point.
 
And I'm sure Joe Rose is his usual lame self. Next week has the makings of a complete debacle...a team on the road in a rivalry game with a dead-man walking head coach

It's the same script and talking points for the last five years. Work for word.
The only difference is his energy when he says it.
 
Not a surprise. The guy has zero clue how to fix this team. I genuinely think after every loss he sits there in a catatonic state of disbelief because he does not understand why his teams don't win. Sadly, he doesn't realize that when you get to that point, the source of the problem is you.

Philbin got fired today. As I Dolphins fan, I'm relieved that we no longer have Philbin. There's obviously many other things wrong with the Phins, but at least Ross has pulled the trigger. You're up next UM BOT.

best part is he spent 55 straight days in the office after the USCe loss and nothing has changed. I don't know what he was doing during that time but it **** sure wasn't an evaluation of the program. He's just WOAT and keeping him around is more damaging than letting him go.

Its time to move on and I'm willing to bet all parties involved agree

At the end of the day, hes knows its over. He is virtually coaching for his job the next 3 games and he has a shot to win only one. He knows it would take a ridiculously, heart felt effort from our players to win in Tally.

We all saw Clemson, we are not beating those guys. Vtech is a maybe. And now he wakes up to the fact that Joe Philbin has been fired. Which will put even more pressure on him because local fans will want to know why he isn't next.

For the sake of the seniors who came here wanting so bad to "Put their city on the map" (famous words of Deon Bush at the AA game after we all thought he was ALA or AUB bound), I hope we beat FSU so that they can at least have that. So they can leave SOMETHING behind for the younger guys. Hard to root against the team when the players deserve better.

But I want Al gone period. So if we lose, all the better. And if we get blown out, hopefully he wont be allowed back on the bus.

I can tell you what he came up with - throwing "me" guys under the bus and coming up with new catchphrases. Other than that, I really can't point to anything that is different about this year.
