A lot of people ask why every other post on th thread has to go toward bashing Golden. To be honest, he makes it impossible for you not to get ****ed at the things he says and does. If you just listen and buy in he will sell you a lemon. but if you actually match what he says up with his actions and his past words you will start to get angry every time you read an article. Then you just start having fun with it.
I honestly love when someone finds something incriminating on him so i can hate him(as a coach) even more. I love reading the diff jokes and insults people come up with too. I find more fun in looking at him get thrashed on a message board than i do watching him destroy the future of the players who chose to bleed for the orange and green.
And before you ask..... yes.
Yes, my life sucks so bad that the Miami Hurricanes are a part of the center of what i consider happiness.
"I think obviously it was the most complete game we played this year, and I thought Cincinnati we played really well in all three units for three quarters and this one I thought we played real well," Golden said Friday afternoon via teleconference. "We could've done a few things better late in the game, but again your mindset changes a little bit when you're up 24 or 31 late in the game. ... I thought it was a good performance."
Why say something this stupid when its clear as day you left your starters in late into a well decided game and risked getting two of your best players hurt. You can leave things like that out if your humble enough to recognize your own mistakes.
When things go bad Golden throws players under the bus as we know. But if they go good.... look out. God does he take ALL of the dam credit.
Jermaine Grace been a baller but instead of praising James as the good player he is he has to give credit to "the process" its crap.
Same with denzel. i remember when denzel got a pick against boston college, i believe, his freshman year. And instead of praising dp52 for the pick al immediately threw him under the bus to praise the coaching. Sad shid right there.
After reading this type of crap for almost FOUR years how in the **** is this board supposed to look?
The offense is crap.... it gets better... no praise to james coley or the players.... but we do find out that the Golden man himself is now involved in the plays.
The defense seemingly shows improvement and yup you guessed it....... Golden is the batman that saves the city.
coach Al Golden said today that he’s gotten involved recently in play-calling on offense and defense.
“On the fourth and two from the two, that’s my call and it didn’t go so well the other night,” he said.
“Georgia Tech fourth and one from the 30, again that was me. There’s a lot of those, and timeouts, constantly going back and forth trying to communicate, share what we see, plot a course for each series. People think it’s about the game, it’s really about each series, how they’re playing, certain groupings, formations and [then the coach decides] how you are going to approach the next series.”
But as soon as both units start failing again. then its back to trusting the process, and freelancing, and blah blah blah.
The real question is... how can you not be upset?
i want the Canez to win and id never root for them to lose but i hate Al golden so much it doesnt make me feel bad if we lose.
