A well known figure in south florida football and I chatted this morning. i asked about coaching changes and he said "golden dont get it. he never will. Williams is he worst. he can't develop players and the local community can't stand him. Carroll couldn't coach wr's but the recruits at least liked him. Golden just wont fire anyone."

Keep in mind, this individual was pro-golden. he also wants Mario as the next coach which is def not my choice. it still seems like williams is a cancer on our staff among the local community. honestly, i just hope golden is gone after this year.

In a related story, the AP is now reporting that water, unlike previous reported, is in fact.....wet.

Yet our secondary is considered a strength of our team.

I'm done getting on assistants here as we had three recently move on to better jobs and nine of them I thought had shown much here. That tells me one thing, obviously people like something they were doing which also suggests the overall scheme we employ is inherently flawed.

Perhaps this is the case with Williams as well....who knows. He did well with Gunter, has Burns coming along, etc.

elder, bush too.. I personally dont like williams either. He never seem to "fit" at miami. Golden being so **** scary screwed us out of getting ed orgeron for the dline cooach. By him waiting it let LSU grab him. We got melvin who is a good coach but average to below average recruiter. Could have had the best of both worlds

he was a sign to people that golden was not serious about staff changes. to be fair, he said carroll was a horrible coach but that people liked him.

Honestly williams attitude and personality doesnt mesh well with some of the people down here

Yeah he's corny

Paul Williams is a 'cornball' brother...

I ran into a guy who is prominent in the community the other day. He said that if you read between the lines of the writing on the wall, that the word on the street is that..........blah, blah, blah.

With Orgeron we would've had a Great Recruiter, and possibly the next Head Coach of The U..
