Golden deserved to be fired but he was fired without cause. Why shouldnt he get paid the remaining years on his contract less what he is getting paid by the Lions?

I 'd say Golden along with his but buddy almost destroying a once proud program and sending it into a downward spiral is certainly CAUSE

In this day and age most contracts are "at will" contracts. Non-performance of your duties is cause.

Either way it will be decided in a court of law.

Because technically Miami is paying out his contract.......only they are doing it SLOWLY at $0,24

At that rate Golden and heirs should receive the entire payout in a couple of centuries
