Let's say the rest of the season goes like everybody thinks it's going to go. Then at the end of it all Golden decides to clear house and bring in all new coordinators. Does this buy him another year with the administration?

No. He had his chance to do that last year and the year before after making Charlie Strong look like a coach. Fire him.

Can we repurpose this thread and acknowledge hurricane Joaquin for being the only hurricane relevant in college football this season.

That train left the station. And it is abundantly clear that unless D'No leaves on his own accord, he and Al are a package deal. Al wouldn't let him go, ever. Also, Al has never fired anyone, I don't think. So "clearing house" would be a total weasel move, to save his own **** and not for the betterment of the program, so forget that. The fish rots from the head down.

If the rest of the season goes like we think it's going to go, Al won't be around to fire anybody.
 
That option was last year. He elected to ignore that and bury the program further and prove his incompetence. He's gone and his assclown friends too.

I wish more schools would put in performance clauses in their contracts. Guaranteed through xxxx provided win average is >=8 over any consecutive 3 year period or whatever. That way you can terminate a **** coach without some bull**** buyout. Folden deserves to be penniless for the atrocities he's committed. **** paying him.

But that would make sense, which is why Miami would never do it. They don't believe in accountability.
 
This is 100% true.

Golden is actually angry that he was not fired last year.

Im sure his agent already has a TV deal worked out for Al.

No one really knows what this administration will do if golden makes staff changes and asks for another year. It would be a meltdown if they gave him another year.
 
That's why he brought in beard, Randall etc .. No real coordinator is coming on a 1 year deal.
 
It sure as **** shouldn't buy him another day, much less another year, but nothing is beyond our dumb-*** BOT. If those ****tards did allow this to happen, it would be just another year of me saving money that otherwise would have gone towards a donation and tickets, more banners and toxicity, and disenfranchise even more fans (which shouldn't be possible at this point).

Staff changes wouldn't matter. Nothing will change with staff changes. No D is running Al's defense. Anyone else that comes in as a d coordinator would have to run the same defense.
