-Told the team to stay in bunker, don't take the cheese. Don't worry about setting, UNCs uniforms. All about us executing.
-About the ranking: Don't take the cheese. People will tell you how great you are, but they've been through a lot of adversity. After that, it's about what we're doing. Gotta protect the football, have had great practices.
-Kept Morris out all of last week, was tired of Morris limping during games. Looking really good right now. Excited about where he is right now.
-Linder at RT: can play RT, RG, LG. He is bright and tough, willing to do it. Offensive line is willing to play different positions. Seantrel has had good weak. Wheeler's been playing as good as anybody.
-About offensive line rotation: Selfless group, coach each other. Constant state of learning, communicate as good as any group as he has been around. 7-8 guys in rotation.
-D'onofrio taking heat last year to this year: Making a lot of progress. Credit to D for staying the course and trusting their evaluations. Jenkins/McCord/AQM/Gunter all developing like they expected. Very difficult circumstance last year, D'onofrio took the heat head on. Has the defense where he wants it now. Defense is playing fast, "quiet mind". Much stronger on D, emphasis right now to not lose weight during the season, wants the players to continue to get stronger.
-Challenge on Thursday, "warp speed" offense. Gotta take Ebron out of the game or else he will dominate.
-Renner is realy good, no huddle up tempo offense.
-Really talked up Ebron.
-Records don't mean anything, will be great test for our poise and leadership. Want to eliminate all mistakes before getting there.
-Seantrel:Getting down to the end here. Not speaking for him anymore. Past the education, mentor stage. Alot of kids have accepted the education/mentor stage. Seniors can't be mentored. In six months, he will be own brand. Hopes he has learned. He has a great heart, but gotta make sure he hangs around right people/makes best choices in his best interest.
-Immense talent, and have to get his skill level to match talent level. Have to get him to trust the process. Gotta keep pushing him.
-Should have enough maturity/leadership for this game. Past games should serve as an example of what is coming.
-This group has been on task. Hopefully their mindset continues. No third parties right now. Get to point where you have invested so much, sacrificed so much that they are not willing to compromise for it. Hopes to not lose any day of preparation because of it.

This team will be ready I think.

If Seantrel weren't a **** good player I don't think he'd still be here.

Seantrel's gotta wake up, man.

If he hangs around the wrong people now, God only knows who he'll hang around with once he gets some NFL money.

Somebody needs to take him under their wing.

Wow. Under Clappy and Randy, the rule of the day was, "Don't CUT the cheese."

We're making progress!

Thank you coach Golden.....

1rst round talent. Gets drafted late 2nd at best for conduct off the field.

Complete running back, his best highlights are watching him in pass pro. Nobody did it better. Instead of speaking they could have shown 1 minute of that and demonstrate total commitment and a willingness to play the game at high level in all facets.

Golden seems to know how to push the right buttons to get these kids to buy in and push each other. I love the process, let's blow these ****'s out.

What this team has done so far should be all the testament Seantrel needs to trust the process and if he doesn't he'll only hurt himself in the long run. Natural talent can only get you so far.

Al's not going to let a cancer inflict the team. If it continues the cancer will be dismissed.

I don't see that any player on that team is even close to being a "cancer." Seems like a pretty good group. Al did a huge amount of house-cleaning (E.J., Finnie, Terry, and a few others). I feel good about all the guys that are left - what I know of them.

Didn't McKinney? Maybe that was a bad thing.
