Golden/Cristobol/Coley/Rutgers......

Imagine, if you will, a fat *** corch with a used car salesman smell who knows the gig is up and decides to go home, home to the State University of New Jersey and in his stead the idiot but well intentioned AD decides to hire the man responsible for the 15th best defense in the nation ----

You have just entered the Twilight Zone.

what world do some of you guys live in? golden is not going to Rutgers with the roster he has lined up.

Actually, why would Rutgers hire him when HIS school wouldn't touch him? Unless Al does something here, he is done as HC. The same Big 10 team that just gave up the ncaa record rushing yards ran all over Golden's vaulted psu defense.

Pay Coley $1.6M

Maybe he brings in a young OC on the cheap to learn (Dorsey?)

Give him $1M to hire his DC and let him hire who he wants (if he wants Leavitt, let him hire Leavitt)

James Coley would make Randy Shannon look like a grey beard in terms of experience and football acumen. He's not even an above average OC, two years total calling plays, and u have cats wanting him bc he reminds them of Razor Ramon.

all you guys are talking about who would be the HC..I'd be more curious as to who the DC would be

Jim Leavit makes me excited. Aggressive Attacking 4-3 defense, and he won at USF for ***** sake.

SMH at the logic sometimes...I am have no opinion on Leavit but to make an argument based on "he won at USF..." sounds oddly familiar to "but he won at Temple"

I know very little about Leavit so my opinion is limited. I know he erected a program from its infancy and had them recognized nationally for a couple of years. What this shows to me is that the man can recruit, manage (CEO), and his defenses were decent. He also got fired for some wild ****. Has he had a gig since? What has he done since being fired? Any HC job offers or considerations? These questions would be more relevant IMO vs the "he won at USF" argument.

in regards to Coley being HC due to his "Latin Flare"....eso es una **** mierda.

Lastly, **** Mario..hope he gets lost in the backwoods of south Alabama and meets a clan of inbred redneck cannibals

I would honestly prefer Chud. I think he has a lot of good qualities and got a bad deal in Cleveland. Gut most of the current staff minus Ice, maybe kehoe (OL has gotten better), Coley, and Hurlie. Bring in Leavitt to run the def, Patrick for DL, Dorsey as QB coach/off asst. The rest I don't know.

If Golden leaves donofrio leaves as well no chance in **** he stays as DC let alone as HC. Cristobal has paid his dues I think he is ready ro be HC and is a local guy. Wouldnt mind him as long as we keep Coley and hire a good experienced DC.

I lol'd at the Razor Ramone comment. Very nice! Wouldn't a guy like Leavitt be legit HC material and just keep Coley as the OC. It would save hiring a DC allow for a extra position coach.
