I get it. It’s Bethune Cookman, it’s going to be a blowout, you got those seats for donating x amount of money, etc. Etc.

However, for the first game of the new era, this is a deplorable, despicable showing. If people were busy or traveling, fine. But for anyone in this group that sat at home and watched it on TV…shame on you.

Be better. Show up to the games if you actually have a passion for the University of Miami, and don’t have a conflict. This program, this staff, and these kids deserve it.

Today, I stopped at chic-fil-a with my family for some fries and a drink. After leaving the drive through and getting 5 minutes down the road I realize they gave me a chicken sandwich and some nuggets to go with our 2 orders of fries. Well, we’re vegetarian, so we weren’t going to eat the chicken. So we took the opportunity to pull in to the local Walmart parking lot and gave the chicken to one of the homeless parking lot residents so they could enjoy what we would not be using.

That’s kind of like this, if you aren’t going to go, please try to give your tickets away. Those seats in the pic are already allocated, if your too busy to go, find some kids and give them away and make someone’s day.
