Golden 0-11 v teams that finished ranked

We lose against almost every team we play that has 8 or more wins. Ark. St. will be one of those teams. There's a good chance we lose.

Quite the opposite actually. Golden is an intelligent man with severe personality flaws, including stubbornness and a lack of accountability for himself and his subordinates. The game evolves too fast for a coach like that.
 
This stat is unbelievable, damning as ****. We probably play 4 teams that will finish ranked this year. UL(maybe), Neb(maybe), FSU and VT. 0-1 already, does anyone truly believe we have a shot in any of the other 3 games.

the other FACT about that 2011 team that is typically missed by the mouth breathing masses and the football chicks on this board is that:

we DID NOT run F/A/Gs BS 3-4 defense that year!!!!! it was a transition year. they ran a watered down ****gy version of Randy's 4-3 with a lot softer zone coverage mixed in

Agree. I think just as telling will be how and to who we lose to more than total losses.

Although, the Defcon 5 scenario and total collapse is still possible. If we sh*z the best against Ark. St. all bets are off.

The most frightening part of your post is whom would Blake James hire? We've managed to consecutively hire three of the worst ever D1 head coaches. It seems James would be far more likely to continue that horrific trend than buck it.

How I miss Sam Janckovich. He is precisely the type of AD that is needed at a private underfunded athletic program; the guy who can pick the under the radar stud coaches that turn into stars.

The only way we prevail over any of those teams is with a 5+ turnover margin and at least one special teams touchdown. In other words, we need a miracle outlier performance.
 
So far, the only reasonably straight faced defense of Folden here is "We beat the Gatas when they were a healthy, 6-6 type team".

I don't blame Golden. I blame his supporters!
 
As a former golden supporter its just hard to deny facts.

We never look good against teams that are average or good. We struggle against wake forest and nc state. We have more talent now then anyone in the coastal and we struggle to beat the bottom teams. I thought for a long time it was because he didn't have HIS guys. But now four years in and we are seeing the same things over and over again. I can live with making mistakes and losing close games but it looks like there is never any game plan.

I only ask because the guy is about to play an Arky St. team that won 8-games and a bowl last year.

If history repeats itself (it always does with this fat clown), Miami will lose this Saturday at home.

Past history and stats tell us everything we need to know about these buffoons!

-Arky St. was 8-4 last year and won a bowl game. In his ******* coaching career Gilden has an atrocious record against teams like that
-Arky St. runs a spread option, fast-paced option. We all know how well Dorito does scheming for those opponents. Just ask Duke, Vag Tech and the host of other teams that put up 500 ******* YARDS on this team last year.

Instead of continuing here, why don't you tell me why Miami will win instead. Outside of being at home and it raining (slowing down the game), I can't think of many.
