I guess we are talking about after the season rankings right, because he did beat a ranked but pretty terrible Ohio State team in 2011.

I'm convinced Golden is mentally retarded. Even the worst of coaches can stumble on a couple quality wins.

We've beaten a ton of teams who were ranked at the time. They weren't ranked at the end of the season tho. Which probably had something to do with us beating them
 
I was all fired up for that game against the gators... only to see them get smashed in every game the rest of the year which kind of made that win less impressive. Then we proved incapable of winning as well.

No defense. Please, administer the death penalty* to end this pain.

*To the coaches.
 
he is a mid major coach. he coaches like he is still at temple with medicare athletes
 
It's beyond just the rankings, when has Golden won an "important game"? Florida? They ended up being *** but whenever we beat Florida that's a good thing. I just don't recall this team being in a big time, season defining game and coming up big. Against anybody who has any sort of talent or coaching this team either struggles or loses.
 
How about, never beat a team that finished the season ranked? How about never beat a ranked* team?

*The two ranked teams he beat, Florida and Ohio State, finished the year 4-8 and 6-6 respectively

Has everyone forgotten the championship bowls that we pass so the punishment would be lighter as well the U still have been stripped of scholarships till next year.

If Coach Golden didn't wanted the job at The U than why did he stayed and not ran to Penn. State when he had a chance.

Typical So-Flo fans only they're aboard when the team is winning but heaven forgive if the team is doing bad ... Quickly jump ship. BANDWAGON FANS JUST LIKE THE FINS, HEAT, PANTHERS AND MARLINS SOUTH FLORIDA IS THE BANDWAGON STATE.

LOYALTY IS SUPPORTING YOUR TEAM THROUGH GOOD AND BAD TIMES.
