Going undefeated 12 team cfp

Yup. Even if we win out and don't make the ACCCG, I think we'll need that conference game to go a certain way. What if GT and UL are in and GT is undefeated going in. GT loses and Miami won't get an at-large bid. Or, GT wins and beats a 1 loss UL. I think we would sweat it out but should get in.
GT may not be ranked as highly by the playoff committee as ppl think, power ratings have them in the 20s and they only beat Wake Forest because of a ref mistake. Playoff committee is more likely to notice that than the AP.

GT needs to beat Georgia to be live as a real top 10 team that can take Ls and still be in.

We get in no matter what at 11-1. dont even have to play in or need a certain result in the ACC champ game. Thats probably the only way the ACC gets 2 teams in.

Here's a scenario for you. We win out and GT and UL win out and go to the ACCCG. UL wins and GT ends up with 1 loss. UL goes in. No way the committee takes both GT AND UM for the CFP imo.

I dont buy this stuff. Playing down being undefeated when we went undefeated in the toughest part of pur schedule makes no sense. Who is gonna beat Ohio on their regular season schedule? They shouldn't lose any games. And we shouldn't have lost to UL. Nothing to do with 12 team playoff. Our coaches got their lunch took.
You say that now and they will inexplicably be in a dog fight with a team they are wayy more talented then..it happened to them just last year but they got their **** together and went n got a Natty. Rarely do teams steamroll their way to a championship.

They will put an 11-1 UM in that scenario idk about how all that other stuff will play out..especially if the only team we lost to is an 11-1 ACC champ Louisville team.

UGA 10-2 plays in the sec. Do they win it? If yes, how would 12-1,12-1,11-1 ul, GT, um not get in to the cfp? In this case, nd could be the odd one out or 4th sec team.

Tennessee made it in at 11-1 last year. They beat bama at home. Lost to Georgia. Then proceeded to get blown out by taint

as Alex D said we go in over GT. Better wins and much bigger brand.

I’d be cool with the whole “no one goes undefeated” narrative if we lost games we were supposed to lose. We lose as huge favorites. And it’s a massive indictment to the coaching staff. We didn’t lose at Georgia. We didn’t drop a thriller to Oregon or Ohio state. We lost (again) as a heavy favorite

Im not disagreeing with that but am saying its not some doing of the 12 team playoff that caused us to lose to UL at home. And if Ohio loses like you say or are in a dog fight, it will be because their coaches got outcoached like ours did

Heavy favorite just means that Louisville was disrespected

That Louisville team showed to be a good well coached team even b4 we played em, you have to show up n give the same effort you do to the Ufs and Notre Dames of the world , I did not see that same intensity Friday , you’re right it’s on the coaches don’t let it happen again this szn

I don't know that 3 ACC teams would get in but we'll see.

Let's hope! And let's hope we are pretty convincing the rest of the way. If we win out but are sluggish the last 2 weeks of the year, it's up in the air.

The worst thing about a 12 team college football playoff is not every loss is treated equally. I’m still waiting for Alabama to get credit for bad against Florida State. That Louisville team is a good team, but we also turned the ball over four times but we didn’t lose to Wake Forest or North Carolina either that’s the problem I have is that certain schools are already program that they don’t have any bad losses because they play in a certain conference that’s not true. Ohio State losses last year were worse than Miami and yet we knew Miami wasn’t gonna make the playoffs the minute they lost to Syracuse and Ohio State still had a chance after losing to Michigan. The CFP is way too much of our perception. Every loss for the ACC is like you lost the worst team in the conference.
