God I hope Kaaya goes to the NFL

Same thing as people bashing Manny Diaz right now. He could have come up with a better plan, sure. But I think this is his first time playing GT with 3 freshman LBs. People slam him for the missed tackles but he gets no credit drawing up the plays that force the fumble recovery TDs.

Yeah we had a young team going against the triple option offense. Stuff happens. They will get better playing against that as they gain more experience. Hopefully Paul Johnson is fired this year

Kaaya played fine. The OL didn't have a good game. Too much pressure even vs. 3 man fronts. The run game wasn't consistent because the OL missed a few assignments. GT was forcing Miami to pass and Richt didn't want to risk Kaaya standing in the pocket getting hit a ton so he ran it for short gains.

I like Kaaya, but he does seem to get more love than what he has shown so far... However, regardless of how you feel about him, look at how long it took Richt to name a #2 QB and I don't think it was due to having strong competition behind Kaaya. You may be frustrated with Kaaya, but what is currently behind him does not inspire much confidence... yet

I'm convinced that our fanbase is football illiterate. Seriously. Kaaya wasn't the problem today, frankly, Miami should have abused Tech in the middle of the field through the air, because the Jackets were daring the 'Canes to do it. Richt kept running into the teeth of the defense, when it was obvious that slants, square ins and stuff like that were there to be had. Trust your QB to do his job, especially at the end of halves.
