Go get the clemson guy and call it a day

So if Martin is a GOOD coach, but got fired, but Applewhite and Fedora are not better than good because they got promoted?

These are the facts.

Last year at USC their offense scored 24 or more points 67% of the time. That's with a true freshman QB.

22 Top100 kids came to USC to play in a Tee Martin ran offense.

A good coach and great recruiter trumps a good coach and a good recruiter 10/10.

If we poach anyone from Clemson, I'd rather have Brandon Streeter than Jeff Scott. Streeter has play-calling experience (in FCS, but consistently productive), he's Clemson's recruiting coordinator, he closes like a boss, and he's got a solid track record as a QB coach (though Lawrence and Deshaun Watson would make even Richt look good).

Add Seider as RB coach/run game coordinator and Martin as WR coach/pass game coordinator and we'll have three proven elite-level crooters on staff.

How did our offense look with a freshman QB? And Tee had a true freshman. The truth is there is more evidence to support he is a good OC than not. Stats don't lie. The "he had Sam Darnold" is a lazy argument bc the fact is he DID have Sam Darnold and he DID perform with him. JT is no Sam Darnold. JT is no Tua. Chances are more likely that your offense will struggle if a kid that graduated high school less than a year ago is now your starting QB in D1.
Scott/Clemson had Watson. Now Lawrence. That O wasn’t world beaters with Bryant. Tee Martin had a true fresh QB pushed into Starting. Martin was scapegoated.

Exactly. Martin is a far better hire, but especially a better fit for Miami than Fedora and Applewhite

This couldn't be any more dumb. First of all Sam was not a true freshman. He was a Redshirt Freshman and a sophmore when he played under Tee. Most coaches would look good with Sam Darnold as their QB. Saying "but luk at da stats" is the lazy argument. Not pointing out how terrible a coach did when he lost his heisman candidate QB. He got fired for a reason. It was because he sucked.

Stats dont lie....like how in 17 with their top rated offense and Darnold they scored a whopping 14 points against ND(Rorcht and Malweak put up 34) or put up 7 against Taint in the bowl game.......Stats look good when you play crap competition.
