Im **** proud of our guys, Jarren is going to be an elite QB.

Our OLine is going to gel and grow by mid season.

Jeff Thomas will fix his mistakes.

Tate Martell will not be running out of the backfield anymore.

DJ is so much quicker than last year. Our secondary is legit.

It was a sloppy game, but for game 1, this Is a different team from the past two years. Look at how many mistakes were cleaned up in the second half already.

GO CANES!

We always gotta beat the refs and the opposing team, nothing new here.

The Gators are low class pieces of scum, late hits, cheap shots, they are gonna get rolled this year they are not that good.

We win the Costal and end up in a NY6 bowl, mark it down.

This loss tonight will make us grow far more than a lucky win. We need our wins to be real not like 2017!
 
Yo! I'm actually impressed. This is is more talented than I thought obviously the o-line and d-line needs work but overall we can go 12-1 in my opinion! People thought we was gonna get flat out destroyed. But they showed alot of promise. I'm proud! GO CANES 4 LIFE!

Ya man, they gonna roll. Proud of these guys. Best football I've seen in a lot of years at the U. I know it was ugly, but you can tell it's different.
 
The team is young.

The OL is young AND playing like trash.

This should put to rest once and for all the athlete vs coaching debate.

The OL just doesnt have the athletes...PERIOD.

End of debate.

Yet.

Future remains bright for Canes.

I think we are better than every other team we play but we were better than the Gators and look how that turned out. If we cant find someone to protect Jarren we may end up with Baxa being QB1.

I feel the same way! I saw alot of good out of the ugly! The offense was exciting to watch. Jarren is gonna be elite. We got what we asked for a (QB and Offensive coordinator) we just gotta recruit better lineman as well.

More than proud and for the first time in a very long time, there's promise: Freshman LT, shirt Fresh RT, 1st time starting center, and 1st time starting RS Fresh QB, with a new OC and 1st time HC v. top 10 team and we missed a chip shot that would have (if other things played out similarly) set us up for a game winning fg. None of that was hyperbole. And we now have legit coordinators: this clearly felt -and is- different than before...
