Allow me to write the script for how this recruiting will end up......

1) Kid proclaims UM was his "dream school", grew up with posters of Ray Lewis and Sapp in his room,
watched "TheU" or whatever that production was called, and so on.
2) Starts telling recruiting sites that he is very excited about visiting south Beach, err, UM.
3) On visit, tweets pictures of Orange and Green cookie cake, some views from his hotel, beach with
at least one picture of him throwing up the U.
4) Sunday morning comes, the recruit fanboys start pestering the UM sites, asking for any reports of
how his visit went...none of the sites report anything, claim that he is not picking up the phone calls.
Maybe one site does get to him, and he replies that he's tired and not ready to talk about his trip.
5) A few days later he reaffirms his commitment to LSU. Says it's home and always wanted to play
in front of his mom.

pretty sure we have bag men now. no SEC coach can do his job without one.

Long shot. But we have to quit conceding all the top guys to programs like LSU and Bama if we want to rise to the top again. Our coaches better be stronger salesmen of UM than our beaten fans are.

Then we'll have to get in on these guys sooner than simply when they stop feeling a lil love by their committed school in November, while said committed school looks around at other prospects.

If Coach O wants this guy. He'll stay at LSU.

Between Coach O and Dave Aranda I can tell you that getting quality dlinemen out of Louisiana is not going to happen. Logan will come for a vacation that is about it, especially if his mom wants him close to home. He also seems a little on the country side, so I am thinking the culture shock of moving to Coral Gables maybe a little much for him. No don't get me wrong Logan is an excellent player an would be a huge get for Coach Kul and Miami.

That's obscene. You'd think at least one of those kids would bolt. No matter how competitive a kid is, the odds of any specific guy seeing the field aren't great compared to at another school. Like Miami.

They both ended up signing with 2 schools not named UofMiami.

Actually the argument if he was thinking clearly (or you for that matter) would be the mom wanted them both at lsu. Since this great threads argument is the mom wants him to go to lsu & that's all there is to it. Than the opposite spectrum wouldn't be did they sign with miami obviously... it would be did they sign ANYWHERE OTHER THAN LSU... considering one signed with Alabama & the other with the gayturds before he transferred here (yet again not lsu) than I'd say his argument is clearly better than your logic but hey,that's just me.

In the meantime, I'll go with what has been the trend with recruiting blue chip talent from
SEC territory, and I have been following this longer than you've probably been around.
Go fix us fellas some sandwiches and stay out of it.
