Given that we're arguing on whether a kid goes to a school that the mom wants them to go at, it is. Landon went to Bama and Gerald went to UF (transferred to Miami).

Yes, u continue to recruit the kid, and recruit him hard, because u never know what can happen. BUT history shows us that mom wins out, MOST of the time.

We've seen this story play out about 50 times over the years. The kid chooses LSU every single time. Only reason I'd say there's better than a 0.5% chance is because he goes to DEstrehan so he probably grew up idolizing Ed Reed.

We never had a staff like this it might end a lil different this time..

Willis is here, and my point counters the whole mama thing he said and hey they happened to be in the same state, i can also say williams who plays at bama whos family wanted him close was giving us serious look until he saw the teams crappy play and be also played in Louisiana

Because when it comes to recruiting, most UM fans have become so Goldenized to losing these type battles in the past it's very hard to be optimistic. With a new coach and staff here's to hoping that changes.

Exactly and we had 4 real years of Golden while Richts had over a decade of success. A bull**** loser mentality will keep you as a loser especially when reality is you have a monster upgrade at IMO every coaching spot except the te spot but you see the point

Yes Willis and Collins mom wanted them at LSU, but she also said she would have been happier if they would have picked Miami instead of Alabama and Florida..... Willis was a huge Canes fan and Collins was a huge Sean Taylor fan, claiming him as his Idol... but the staff screwed up with collins not recruiting him, and Willis stated that negative recruiting against Miami (Sanctions bs) hurt our chances. .. Stan Dobard stated this as well
