But watch DJ Ivey on their 2nd onside kick. The one that they recovered. How in the world can any upperclassmen DB in college football give that sort of effort on such a crucial play. The dude just watch the ball dribble 10 yards for their kicker to recover it. Get him off the field!

I thought it was #3 which I thought was Harley

They had a cool scheme of two kickers running in different directions. Then caught him off guard with a soccer style dribble kick up the middle.

I am not sure they showed that on film at all. I tip my cap to the Special teams coach and just move on.

So what you're saying is, if a team doesn't show something on film, the player has zero responsibility to make an effort?

Ivey was absolutely worthless on that play and it was reminiscent of the huge fake punt by GT where he just stood there with his thumb up his ***.

Dude is a massive liability and should be shown the door.

Saw this very clearly and said the exact same. Dude is lost out there.

Wrong.

I say they executed a good onside kick that was a bit confusing and designed well. I give them credit.

I would not bash Ivey that much if I were a coach. Just use it as a teaching moment.

LMAO OK dude. We'll just let players look at a moving ball on an onside kick, do nothing to get it, and be OK with that.

Pathetic.

Everyone is pretty much aware of DJs shortcomings and is baffled as to how he sees the field so much. We're aware. Just so you know.

True, but after GT 2019, why have him on special teams at all?

1. That was an awesome play design on the onside kick.
2. It was Mike Harley who did jack **** on that play. Ivey was ~10 yards away from where the ball was kicked, whereas the ball was kicked directly in Harley's direction.

I am not talking about Mike Harley. I'm talking about DJ Ivey. Watch him on the play make no effort to help recover the kick
