Glad for Rashawn Scott

I wish I could find that long thread from around 2013/14 where I said we had a roster full of NFL players and about 4-5 lunatic posters went nuts on here. I have the link saved in my email somewhere.

We actually had more NFL players on those rosters than my supposedly unrealistic projection.

This makes the future even brighter when you consider that our current coaches will recruit better and I have zero doubt will squeeze more out of their collective talent.

The defensive linemen have been next to nothing, particularly on the interior. That's what many of us focused on, and it was proper. Limited our upside. I think I saw that Kamalu was waived and Heurtelou was waived. Wyche certainly is nowhere. That's what we were dealing with the past few seasons. Meanwhile, a guy like Gotsis from Georgia Tech can be picked in the second round despite missing nearly the entire season with a serious injury. Clemson has been sending waves of defensive linemen into the league with high or relatively picks, and likewise Florida State, although not in 2016.

During this decade we've had two punters drafted, and zero defensive tackles.

The current guys seem much improved. I'll reserve judgment for a while.

Yup fsu clem lsu bama florida they send better ayers to the league for awhile overall. Way better quality all around....we used to send the best always pro bowlers hof calibers....since recruiting camps and the internet boom we dont get that same type of player anymore.. Its not a coincendance that our talent level has dropped and also do to bad coaches and admin n prez.....just saying the truth is the truth
Way more quality and numbers have gone to the NFL than the teams beating us up in the Coastal division. If you can't see that, I don't know what to say. If you frame my point as "yeah, but Alabama," then you're missing the point because no one was saying we should have been winning championships.
