In addition, the Dolphins signed nine players to the practice squad. All of them were among the players cut Saturday when the team got down to the 53-man roster limit.

The nine players are LB James Burgess, G Jamil Douglas, TE Thomas Duarte, S A.J. Hendy, T Ulrick John, DE Cleyon Laing, CB Lafayette Pitts, WR Rashawn Scott and DE Jordan Williams.

**** be called up soon enough to. Devante Parker will get nicked up and Scott will be brought up just watch. Its crazy didnt see him do much in preseason. He must of killed during practice, because they loved him since signing him..he was a target for the practice squad asap

I wish I could find that long thread from around 2013/14 where I said we had a roster full of NFL players and about 4-5 lunatic posters went nuts on here. I have the link saved in my email somewhere.

We actually had more NFL players on those rosters than my supposedly unrealistic projection.

This makes the future even brighter when you consider that our current coaches will recruit better and I have zero doubt will squeeze more out of their collective talent.

The defensive linemen have been next to nothing, particularly on the interior. That's what many of us focused on, and it was proper. Limited our upside. I think I saw that Kamalu was waived and Heurtelou was waived. Wyche certainly is nowhere. That's what we were dealing with the past few seasons. Meanwhile, a guy like Gotsis from Georgia Tech can be picked in the second round despite missing nearly the entire season with a serious injury. Clemson has been sending waves of defensive linemen into the league with high or relatively picks, and likewise Florida State, although not in 2016.

During this decade we've had two punters drafted, and zero defensive tackles.

The current guys seem much improved. I'll reserve judgment for a while.

But what quality of nfl players are we sending though thats the thing no one talks about and everyone wants ignore. Are we sending probowlers starters or jags? Are we florida from the early 90s and 2000s or the fsus of those times where they sent guys that were ok and we mocked them. When butch was here we sent studs because those guys were studs as soon as they stepped foot here and they were studs whwn they went to the nfl. U can have a roster of nfl players but if they put of the league in three or four then whats the point really.

Yup fsu clem lsu bama florida they send better ayers to the league for awhile overall. Way better quality all around....we used to send the best always pro bowlers hof calibers....since recruiting camps and the internet boom we dont get that same type of player anymore.. Its not a coincendance that our talent level has dropped and also do to bad coaches and admin n prez.....just saying the truth is the truth

he will likely get reps on specials and maybe ein the offense..because they have no faith in Jakeem Grant. I just want Scott to make a catch, a play, something to move on completely...hes a cane and plays for my nfl team. We can use him most definately
