Give Diaz more time before you're ready to fly the Banners.

The present record and STAT's don't lie. The absolute WORST head CORCH and band of assistants ( Enos and Baker. ) in the ENTIRE country! No ifs, buts or hUh.

Oh. And one more notion. A couple of CANESINSIGHT Hurricane fans said Miami probably would win only TWO MORE games after the narrow home win against mighty Central Michigan ( That be against GA. TECH and FIU. ). Their astute opinions were posted in the final Miami record post.

Man, I NEVER, in my wildest dense imagination, thought that would be possible!!!!!!!! But now, who knows and all that. dUh

BINGO.

This is what many of the ******* morons in our fanbase don't understand. You either have a competent staff and are moving in the right direction or the whole free world is negative recruiting against you and cherry picking your top recruits.

If we had an administration that gave a flying F about football, Manny wouldn't survive this season if he ends up winning 5 or 6 games. We had about as soft a schedule as Manny could have hoped for in his first season.

PREACH ON, Mr. Jedi. OH, by the way. How's the elfish Yoda doing these days?

He doesn’t need more time at all but same time banners would make us look pathetic

this fan base won't donate a dime to the school but will raise banners. its beyond ridiculous. money talks at every program. you want urban meyer, get that turnberry money ready to cut the check just as he did with the IPF

I understand a lot of the fan base is ready to fly the Banners but we should support Diaz and give him some more time. Diaz took over a 7-6 team on life support in January when recruiting season was all but done. We had no O-Line and Two QBs who haven't proved anything. The team was not in a good place when Diaz took over. Diaz has the right mindset on what it takes to make us great but he's still a rookie HC who is trying to figure out how to run a program for the first time. I get it you all want instant gratification and we should beat VT and NC because we're the Canes!!! Unfortunately the reality is where a middle of the pack Acc program and have been for 10+ years. I get it you want instant gratification and for the U to be back but we should at least give Diaz two full years before were ready to call for his job or not.

Do you understand or realize just how BAD VT is???

I say give him more time because I don't want to give Blake James another opportunity to f#ck up the hire. Think about how much money that dude has thrown away. After Richts 10 win season, giving him an extension. That meant having to negotiate the buyout when Richt retired, that's millions there. Then paying Temple for Diaz, millions there. If he fired Diaz at the end of the season, then he will owe him millions again. That's at least 12 million of money flushed down the toilet. Miami could have hired Urban Meyer at 7 million per year and it would have been the same or cheaper than all the money James ****ed away. If struggling through 2 more seasons shines a spotlight on James's incompetence and gets him fired, then I'd rather keep Diaz and ignore college football for the next couple of years.

I absolutely disagree with your way of thinking! Absolutely. Hypothetically speaking. Cane dude can give CORCH Diaz what remains of this CRAPPY season and ONLY NEXT SEASON. Then ship him, and his HAND PICKED, assistants on the next boat back to Cuba!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nonetheless, maybe CORCH Diaz will PROOF me wrong! At least I hope so!

Recruiting will suffer and players quit. Then, after decommits, transfers, and roster-attrition, the problem will really become our personnel.

We need to be rebranded again.

After FIVE games? In which every single loss could have been reversed by 1 play? You want banners flying over a stadium to fire a new coach? FIVE games? If no part of you realizes how OUTRAGEOUSLY STUPID that looks to any sane person outside of your bubble, you're nothing more than a little kid having a tantrum. Now, none of that means Diaz will ultimately succeed here, and it doesn't mean you're wrong in predicting he won't. But deep down somewhere you've got to realize that this isn't how things work and that serious people who actually make decisions and run things will never view you as anything but a pathetic embarrassment.

Drink a tall glass of bleach and run out onto the 826 blindfolded.

Or...just go root for another team. UF is taking applications
Our players are half the problem. They are not as good as people make them out to be. Dallas and Jordan are our only true playmakers on offense. We don’t have any studs on defense.

This team has enough talent to win the coastal, there is no excuse why we can’t beat teams we are clearly more talented than. Problem is our coaches are consistently out coached and our schemed. Go take a look at the 4th qtr on a 3rd and 2 play that went all the way down to the 3 yard line on a long pass play. That play is a clear example on how this coaching staff has put these players in a bad position. There are multiple examples if you’d like.

Blame the recruiting or culture or whatever, but you got 5-10 starters or more out of 22 that wouldn't be starting for most Top 20 teams, for various reasons. Sure some better coaching might get some more out of them, but you can't squeeze blood out of a stone even if you are named Urban.

Diaz is a symptom of a deeper problem: the football enemies in the administration. They must ALL be exposed and expunged. Only then can decent hires be made.
