Give Diaz more time before you're ready to fly the Banners.

The past four coaching hires was each time an opportunity to hire the one man who can take a broken program and turn it around - but we whiffed on Butch four times in a row.

UM deserves the ****show they've put on in years past - and that would include the ****show we have now.

I don't know why in **** Head Coaches can't hire PROVEN aggressive OC's and DC's. It makes their job so much easier - and gets results!

I question the intelligence of our past four/five Head Coaches.

Simple equation: Top DC, Top OC - = wins.

Proven OCs and DCs already have jobs lol. Enos was probably the best Diaz could get

This is what many of the ******* morons in our fanbase don't understand. You either have a competent staff and are moving in the right direction or the whole free world is negative recruiting against you and cherry picking your top recruits.

If we had an administration that gave a flying F about football, Manny wouldn't survive this season if he ends up winning 5 or 6 games. We had about as soft a schedule as Manny could have hoped for in his first season.

i have a friend whos son is committed to a top big 10 school. no joke over summer he said to me "Miami should never be hiring a coach that Temple wanted."

Holy crap, I'm usually a pretty positive/optimistic but this is a bunch of crap. Do you recall just last Saturday when we were down 28-0? It took an absolute miracle to even score any points in the 1st half against one of the worst teams in the ACC. Which, of course, they showed themselves to be in the 2nd half by almost blowing the game to us. You and I must have a different definition of "being in the game".

A football game is 4QTRs.... If I remember right with 3 mins left in the game we scored a 60 yard TD that tied the game 35-35. Baxa makes that extra point and it's 36-35 and we keep the momentum

That's what makes this so difficult. There is talent on this team. What's more concerning for me is regardless of the results, each week we're coming out looking less prepared, less disciplined, less capable. It's a downward slide where no good can come from it. Pathetic is a good word for situation it leaves us in.

Combine that with the feeling we have no options, we're only 5 games into the Manny reign, then the pathetic responses.

The bottom line is CORCH Diaz, and both Enos and Baker, are not the answer to what ails Miami Hurricane football!

Now correct me if I'm wrong. But I read somewhere in this particular Cane forum. That CORCH Diaz NEVER played HS varsity football. hUh Is that gossip true, anyone out there?
 
I say give him more time because I don't want to give Blake James another opportunity to f#ck up the hire. Think about how much money that dude has thrown away. After Richts 10 win season, giving him an extension. That meant having to negotiate the buyout when Richt retired, that's millions there. Then paying Temple for Diaz, millions there. If he fired Diaz at the end of the season, then he will owe him millions again. That's at least 12 million of money flushed down the toilet. Miami could have hired Urban Meyer at 7 million per year and it would have been the same or cheaper than all the money James ****ed away. If struggling through 2 more seasons shines a spotlight on James's incompetence and gets him fired, then I'd rather keep Diaz and ignore college football for the next couple of years.
