why should manny be given any benefit of the doubt? he has the worst resume of any coach we have ever hired. He was a temple level coach! he shouldnt be here and the results prove that out.

I think this is defeatist. Cant hurt to try whatever it takes to get him the **** away from our team. Worst case they still retain him, but pressure should be applied immediately and as much as possible.

We lost 3 games where we had the opportunity to win each game at the end. If we had a decent kicker were 4-1 or 5-0 right now. I definitely wouldn't say this was the worst team since 2007

this is a wretched miserable team. the staff including the HC are the least qualified in the entire ACC, and the least qualified we have ever hired. The results we are getting are completed in line with the level of coach we have.

I understand a lot of the fan base is ready to fly the Banners but we should support Diaz and give him some more time. Diaz took over a 7-6 team on life support in January when recruiting season was all but done. We had no O-Line and Two QBs who haven't proved anything. The team was not in a good place when Diaz took over. Diaz has the right mindset on what it takes to make us great but he's still a rookie HC who is trying to figure out how to run a program for the first time. I get it you all want instant gratification and we should beat VT and NC because we're the Canes!!! Unfortunately the reality is where a middle of the pack Acc program and have been for 10+ years. I get it you want instant gratification and for the U to be back but we should at least give Diaz two full years before were ready to call for his job or not.

The problem for Diaz is this team program looks like it’s getting worse, not better. The defense is giving up points to VT and UNC who we dominated last year. The QB and Oline situation has continued to be a mess. Garvin and Bandy’s play has regressed from last year. The LBs have regressed. The player rotations on the Dline, WR and RB make no sense. Some young guys are being ignored while other players can blow assignments, fumble, etc but still play. The team comes out flat against CMU and VT, like they already don’t care anymore, especially after a documented issue of no effort in practice during the bye. Diaz has put his future on a staff that fans don’t respect....so what do you think opposing coaches think of them?

The look on Diaz’s face during games, the lack of any response from him during games and the comments he’s made to the media show he knows he’s in way over his head right now. That is why this situation is concerning.

We are blaming the kicker (he sucks ***) for losing to a GARBAGE VT team at home?
HIS defense got ******* smoked by a team that sucks and had a freshman QB that blows. 42 points at home to that trash team.
This is year 4 of HIS defense and they are horrible this year, that is 100% on him.
The crazy thing is the farther he’s gotten away from the Golden (lulz) recruiting classes, the worse the talent has gotten and is now pathetic. The D (pawz) was his show from the beginning 4 years ago and he’s been abysmal at recruiting.
The fact that the defense has regressed this much is actually more of an indictment on him than every other aspect of the team( which also sucks ***)

Hmm let's see. We lose to a 6-0 Florida team whose a top 10 right now 20-24. Our kicker missed a FG and Extra point.

We lose to NC 25-28 and our FG kicker missed two FGs and a extra point including the game tying FG.

We lose to VT when we had all the momentum after a 60 yard TD run and were about to go up 36-35 with 3 mins left our kicker misses the EP and sucks all the momentum out of the stadium.

Idk what VT did last week... Any P5 team can come out and play there best game and VT did the same as North Carolina. NC loses to App State and then is a Two point conversion away from beating the defending national champions.

It's only been 5 Games and we are just a few kicks away from being undefeated. I'm not just saying that either. It's literally the truth ....

A times but not to this extreme imo. We outscored UNC 22-3 and VT 35-7 after horrendous starts.

To me it may show resilience but screams lack of early focus far more.
