Both have been very good recruiters and with the current state of things, Richt could at least by some goodwill and time with the fanbase by allowing either one of these guys the opportunity to call plays while Richt spends more time on managing the program and getting things turned around.

I know this won't happen and I'm crazy for even starting the thread but Richt has to know that he's lost the majority of the fanbase and parts of the locker room, this may at least by him some time and allow us to see if Davis or Dugans could breathe some life into the offense.

Forgive my Monday morning incompetence, Brown. You know the offensive coordinator that doesn't get to call the plays.

I know, no worries. Just letting you know that looking internally might not be the answer either.

That's the downright frightening part of this. There doesn't seem to be anyone on the offensive staff that can tell Richt that this archaic system is bull**** and needs to change. They all seem to be yes men, we need to someone who's going to keep the HC honest about what's really going on. This isn't all about execution.

Anyone that has anything to do with this current offense has no business calling or participating in any future play calling. We need a TOTAL revamp on the offensive side of the ball.

For the umpteenth time, Richt took this job because he missed calling plays when they took that responsibility away from him at UGA. He’s not giving up play calling to Thomas Brown or any other coach on the staff.
