Well, Amari is gonna play no matter what. In my opinion, none of our linebackers are better than Amari, Gilbert and K. Smith. We need packages where we have Bolden, Hall, Carter, K Smith, Brooks and Gilbert. Carter working the box with Brooks, Carter rushing the QB. Just let Carter seek and destroy. Run a 3 man front with Ivey and Blades at Corner with Gilbert, K Smith and Carter in coverage underneath with one of them rushing the QB

I know it will never happen but I can't remember which game it was earlier but we did play a quite a few snaps with Bolden, Hall and Carter on the field together. There is no reason for us to Sub Gilbert for K Smith or vice versa. We need more athletes on the field period

That's on the player and I think Rumph sucks but that's a fear and speed and confidence thing. If u are confident in your burners u will look back....if u get beat you will not look for the ball cause u want to make the tackle.

Both Blades and dj ivey have already proven they can hold up in man defense, but the defensive play calls consistently don't take advantage of it.

Just like I said before the game, we need to skull drug trevor, we gave em a few good tatto's and it was obvious we definitely started frustrating em, he doesn't want to see us again irregardless of what the score said, if diaz doesn't get this team in position to play Clemson again, it'll definitely be time to go in another direction, this team should be getting better and playing more solid each game, but teams keep exploiting the same defensive tendecies, and keep in mind like we been saying before, teams consistently gash us with big running plays to the "striker" side of the field, because that position is thinking pass routes primarily first, than run. The striker position did not help on the majority of those crossing routes and all that underneath **** we kept getting beat with, and how many screen passes were we not prepared for on obvious screen passing downs, it's because like manny against the better teams it's easy to read their defensive situational play-call tendecies, and the down-side to that is those 2 will blame it more on execution and talk about the dumb **** about Clemson being use to being in those type games when it didn't have jack-schmitt to do with that, than sadly they saying "Clemson did things different from what they showed on film" yeah, it's called adjusting to OBVIOUS ****!

You will stay lost if you are singing the same lying song that most have been singing on here since 17, our corners have not been a problem since coach rumph has been here, all he does is consistently develop the guys under him, alot of crybaby fans in here, when we had the #1 pass defense in the nation, ****'s in here didn't care about that, cause they were and still are mad about some highschool db's choosing to go elsewhere, and than these same do called UM fans weak argument was, "we did play any top qb's/offensive programs" than when the stats were shown for "like opponents" crickets.

We just got thru playing Clemson, was trevor a good enuff litmus test qb, how'd our corners hold up, and if coach diaz or blake baker knew how to use our linebackers properly, trevor's passing numbers would've been even lower, alot his passing yards came on screen passes and to the tight-ends, his receivers were held in check by coach rumph's guys. As far as recruiting goes, if people want to talk about the number of db's, that's one thing, but it's still not critical, think about, young gets hurt,vbandy leaves to early, had 2 crybabies leave the school, but if they talking about the quality of guys, GTFOH!

All those people who tried to act like it was ivey's fault last year on special teams against G-tech, none of them from i've seen this far had anything to say about ivey's play on Saturday, they mad inside that it was him who scored, lol, so they have to be quiet for a lil while now and try and wait for something, to many fake UM fans these days!

1. It’s funny watching everyone ride Gil’s nutz now, especially since half the booty goons in this thread wanted him benched after UL

2. Really funny the hatred for Patke. Special teams are performing and his guy is arguably our second best defender

3. This thread reinforces that our fans are not only dumb AF when it comes to football, but bi-polar and need to stay in their meds

Yeah they can take that first play off of there. That was on 3rd down too.
Starring at the QB and gave up a simple out-route.

Wonder how much Smith is weighing these days. Would be nice to eventually put him at LB and get him on the field WITH Frierson.

We need to update our twitch and aggression at LB going forward.
