Five-star quarterback Torrance Gibson just wrapped up a long Spring Break road trip. He visited several schools including Oklahoma, LSU, Clemson, Auburn, Tennessee, and Florida. Gibson hopes to return to LSU and Tennessee and said the Volunteers are now his leader after the trip. The Plantation (Fla.) American Heritage standout also plans to visit Ohio State this summer.

Tampa (Fla.) Sickles athlete Ray Ray McCloud took a visit to Miami and a return visit to Florida this past week. McCloud said Miami exceeded his expectations and his mom “fell in love” with the school. At Florida, his dad went with him and the two were able to have some good conversations with new offensive coordinator Kurt Roper. McCloud will visit Clemson at the end of next week. He maintains he has no favorite schools

Gibson isnt coming here which is fine with me. Would love him as a WR though.

On Miami:

"They're probably like in the middle," he said. "They're not as high as they were before, but they're in there. I'm going to try to make one spring practice, see how their offense is."

On Tennessee:

"Coach Butch Jones, I believe in his dream," Gibson said. "He has all young cats, freshmen and sophomores, great talent. I think Tennessee's going to have a good shot."

Its clear that Gibson wants nothing to do with Miami. We recruited that kid since 8th grade....but one visit to Tennessee and their #1. lol.

Not that surprising for a kid coming off his out of state visits to be high on the schools he's just visited. He hasn't visited Miami yet this spring, will be interested to see what he says after he does visit.

pretty sure he did visit Miami not too long ago.

I'm talking about coming out to watch practice, like he mentioned in the article. He's visiting these schools during spring ball, so he's getting a look at what the team is doing on the field.

Obviously everyone wants Gibson or Wimbush but the chips don't seem to be falling our way. HOWEVER

Sunshine will do just fine
