We'd be going from having Fentress back there to a legitimate division 1 football player with some ball skills.

Jenkins could have a huge season. We desperately need a ball hawk back there and he is that guy.

Last year Golden used the excuse about how losing Jenkins was a big deal and will find a way to create an excuse with him back now.

Always liked Jenkins so hope that he can bounce back and have a big year for us. His pick in the endzone against the Gators is a great memory

I saw him in an interview yesterday and he looked tiny. I like his ability to play the ball but I'm not sure how much of his playing style will alter depending on him being comfortable hitting. He is another good option, though.

He's more of a ball hawk than other guys we've had back there, which really says very little because who isn't? He's also a guy that was constantly out of position and taking bad angles which led to big plays.

go back and watch how many big plays fentress whiffed on, why we played him is beyond me, its good that jenkins is back, we will have a pretty decent safety group out there

He sucked cause he missed tackles....last time I checked the vaulted Deon Bush missed some tackles that year also. At the end of that season the entire defense looked like dog ****!! Why? Because they were wore down.

Maybe he is better now but the last time this guy took the field he really sucked.

How did he "suck"? He played better than Carter. Though not as big a hitter as Carter, he was better at playing the ball, he covered receivers better, and he didn't miss as many tackles when trying to make the "big hit."

Can't wait to see him 30 yards away from the line of scrimmage and out of range to make any kind of play

Carter saw his first action last season. I think he and Jenkins give us two pretty good options at free safety from an athletic standpoint.

Ya, when you see the D on TV you're like "Why they only got 8 men on D?" Three of em so far back they ain't in the picture.

He will be okay. he and Deon Bush is about the same size. weight wise.
