Getting Excited...

Finley and Shaq come with bad intentions. Shaq **** near killed that QB and I think that dude that caught that screen still has a concusion from Finley.

Seems everyone forgets Finley, I havent heard people talk about him since he committed. But getting him was a HUGE steal considering Clemson wanted him. Hes gonna bring a nasty attitude to our secondary!

Setting up for a let down again. Until I see it on the field, not getting excited.

Yeah, why get excited and hopeful over this hobby/entertainment of ours? Fishermen that get on the Boat mopey are the best to go out with. Getting excited is no way to live because then people will see you're not a complete douche.
Sorry, not gonna drink the cool aide and put on the orange and green glasses. Until the team proves otherwise, they are the Jacksonville Jaguars of college FB.

troll.

Nope. Just being realistic. CMR will help, but he has a very long road ahead.

No you're being negative just for the sake of being negative. You miss the point entirely. Nobody here thinks we are going to win the National Title this year or even next year. The thing that you are missing is that Mark Richt and staff are running this like a real D1 program again and recruiting is seeing a major turnaround. Just ask the recruits. Everyone knows there is a road ahead but with competent leadership and real coaching, it could and should be a fun and exciting journey. Lighten up bro! Good times are ahead.
Heard this all before with Shandy and Goldie. CMR will improve things no doubt, but it will be years down the road. Goldie left the shelves empty with depth. We are a few injuries away from another mediocre year.

Until proven otherwise on the field, the past 13 years speak for themselves.

travis homer and richards seem to have the next level speed where you see them pulling away from guys further and further on highlights. this offense should be dangerous for years to come

I keep hearing homer is elite in the speed department but I just don't see it on film. He doesn't pop like Richards does. Also, homer ran a 11.50 100m and around 25 for 200m this past spring. Those are pedestrian times for a supposed elite speed guy. I know he tested great in SPARQ so we'll see.

11.5? ouch that is pretty average what was his laser timed 40? I'll have to search youtube for more of his highlights

homer's numbers at the opening in 2015 miami regional testing:

5-10.5 195 4.55 4.03 40 37.4

first number is 40, 2nd number is shuttle, then powerball and vert

so he ran a 4.55, but the fastest time at that combine was a 4.48. in fact, homer's time was the 6th best overall.

Here's a list of the best times...

Actually I am and attend many game parties with local Canes club. A lot of those fans are just as frustrated.

Least we now have a coach the players actually want to play for. You could tell they didnt want to play for Golden. CFB is going to see a completely different Canes team on the field in 2016. I am beyond excited for the season and havent had this much hope in awhile.

James and Finley are ball hawk head hunters who belong at safety. When they hit you they try to knock you out. Mullen catch was sick

I am cautiously optimistic this year. CMR was a good choice - he just needs a couple years and recruiting classes to really make a difference. This year will be a rebuild year (again). When we starting winning the games we should be winning and the next year is a reload year, then I will be excited again.
A lot still left to prove on the field.

if everything has been simplified for understanding and drilled into the young men to be able to be efficient and execute what they know (like I have heard). This is going to be a really good team. The way people are talking about the unity of the coaching staff and the trust they have for each other will pay off big IMO. There are some savages on this team, and I think this staff gets the dog out of them. Health is really my only concern, because we are not deep. I am definitely excited.
