Kentucky just got Baxxad too.
Flutie drop kicked one for Pat's at end of careerI actually think that is legal to be quite honest. A kick is a kick whether it's held or dropped i would suspect
Yeah, I think his confidence is totally shot. He's become an absolute liability. We'd be 3-0 if he could kick. He was pretty solid last year. Don't know if coaching is needed or if this dude is a lost cause. It's beyond a bad game now. He's totally flopped.
This is one of the times where I actually agree with making a thread singling out a player.
Baxa's kicking is basura, no 2 ways about it & the difference between people overreacting to Garvin & a thread like this is that Garvin 100% without doubt will play better & produce as the season progresses... Baxa on the other hand is just simply not happening.
Teams in the NFL cut their kickers sometimes on a weekly basis, obviously we can't do that here, but we need to seriously consider other options because unless we step up our Red Zone offense we cannot afford to rely on Baxa to get us FG's from even within the 30-40yd range.
We have 2 other Kickers on the team both are Walk-ons, but we should see what they got in practice this week. I don't think the staff is going to go to another Kicker, but it's seriously become a liability & could cost us games down the line.
Yes they should have just went for it on that 4th and 1. And if he was dead set on a field goal how about pick a play that runs to the middle of the field and if you pick up the first, great but if you don’t atleast you helped you kicker out by putting the ball in the middle of the field. Smh that’s was a corching move by ole stoopsHow Stoops looked at that kid and even thought "FG" is beyond me.
I dont know if he was totally solid last year D. I think he was showing signs last year of what could come. Which is why I was mad manny didn’t bring in a back up plan like he did with our punter. Baxa is fecals, fecals is Baxa! LolYeah, I think his confidence is totally shot. He's become an absolute liability. We'd be 3-0 if he could kick. He was pretty solid last year. It's already cost us at least one game (and probably two). The staff now needs to scheme strictly for four downs within the opponent's 40.This is one of the times where I actually agree with making a thread singling out a player.

FYI....UM has a psych on staff. Can't we just hire a kicker coach, and stick him with the "analyst" title to help out Bubba.
He wasn't perfect but he was generally accurate, especially for a freshman. I figured he would improve, as almost every kicker does over time but I was wrong. I'll take the L for assuming Baxa was gonna get better.I dont know if he was totally solid last year D. I think he was showing signs last year of what could come.
