Getting are hopes up!

Unless we have some hard evidence or important people talking then lets stop the speculation, got my hopes up enough already. Only BC and Pitt would take Golden. Best hope is for Whisky to hire Chryst the Golden bolts to Pitt.

you mean 6-6 chryst right?

He was 6-6 here, but he'll have access to much better talent at Wisconsin. Jimmy Johnson used to lose 5 games or more every year at Oklahoma State.

Don't forget....no cloud at Wisconsin either.
We were humming along until the end of this season when the effects of the cloud finally caught up with us. Not enough depth to weather the storm of a bunch of bowl-hungry ACC bushwackers at the end of the season.

In reality this might be the best chance. Shalala is the former head of Wisonsin and still has close ties with Alvarez. It's obvious Shalala likes Golden and just from a purely professional standpoint she would probably recommend Golden. At least one could hope

Al's not going anywhere. here's a blurb from an article in 2011

Less than 24 hours after he stated that the University of Miami was looking to redo football coach Al Golden’s contract; Golden’s agent Brett Senior sought to walk back the questions that were immediately raised.

“Al is not going anywhere,” Senior told CBS4 news partner the Miami Herald. “He is so committed. All he talks to me about is how great the players are and how much he loves them. He loves his home here. His family loves it here. He’s got a five-year contract. He’s there to honor the contract.”
That sentiment was echoed by University of Miami athletic director Shawn Eichorst later Tuesday.
“He and I are in this for the long haul,” Eichorst said.

Some of you guys are so black and white(no pun intended), life doesn't work that way. No matter what we think of Golden, he is still highly respected and has a lot of strengths. He is a good recruiter, kids generally play hard, and they develop farely well. He's just turned out to be a terrible fit for us. At Wisconsin his strengths would be appreciated, and his weaknesses wouldn't be such a burden. Win-win for both teams. I think he'd also be in play at Pitt, but the Wisconsin job is a face saver, it's a beter job than Pitt and would come with a nice raise. It's also a better town.

As soon as Wisconsin takes someone else, we will immediately rush over to the forum of the team whose HC Wisky snapped, and so on and so forth until the end of January. Should be fun!

I don't care for your condescending tone, Karwax.
