Get well Kam!! CMC said “things appear normal “

I'm no doctor but I've studied a lot about football head and neck injuries. From what I saw his head wasn't in a position where it looked like a C4 fracture or spinal injury. In fact he had his facemask up which is exactly what you're supposed to do. My guess (and don't take this to the bank) is that he got knocked out cold, has a concussion, and all that was precautionary, which they do now for anything that violent with the head and/or neck. Hope I'm right.

Yeah looked like he was knocked out, especially the way his hand was right after he rolled over. Seen a lot of guys do that when they are unconscious or semiconscious.

It’s still scary as **** regardless. Hoping he is healthy and making a full recovery. He plays like it’s the most important thing to him. A guy like that deserves to be doing what he loves.

Here’s to a great prognosis and speedy recovery.

For the most part you would correct. There was certain things observed and being asked that would’ve created more of a sense of urgency to his injury. The modt important things though couldn’t have been done there like CT scans.

Thankfully, there are procedures these days and everyone errs on the side of caution. I remember my brother getting a concussion during his Miami American high school days and he wasn't taken to the hospital ASAP. My Mom (at the game) and me had to pull some teeth to get him checked up. Contrast this with last night when a kid playing in the American-Goleman HS had a concussion and he was taken to hospital immediately (game was called too).

His left hand did like a slow motion squeeze, right? They only replayed it like once (it seemed). Not sure if that was intentional...like a signal for help
Felt like it was him making sure he could do it (glad he could), I have done the same thing myself, I wasn’t immobilized afterwards though.

Point being I felt that was a good sign when I saw it but it didn’t make me feel any better considering the entire circumstance, even knowing they’re making the right move immobilizing out of precaution.
