Tulane's leading scorer and rebounder, Josh Davis is transfering, but can play next year because he's graduating in May. Before you say, "Tulane, blah, blah, blah," dude is legit. He's 6-8, 210 and played 1 year at NC State before transferring to Tulane. He averaged 17.6 points and 10.7 rebounds per game, and before you say anything about the competition, he looked good against Alabama, Ga Tech, Memphis and Syracuse, as well as C-USA teams. Tulane's second leading scorer, Ricky Tarrant, a 6-2 guard, is also transferring, but he'll have to sit out a year and he wants to be closer to his family in Alabama. He lit up Ga Tech for 30+ last year.

Here are some highlights from Tulane's win Tuscaloosa. Davis is #0 and Tarrant is #2

If you want to have greater success next year, you need to get a kid like this. He is ready to play, he is in a position of need (we have no starter at PF) and we have plenty of ships. Plus he brings maturity which is something we will lack.

Things are getting uglier at Tulane as 2 more players have been granted their release. Neither is worth looking at though. One is a 6-2 little white dude who can shoot 3s but is not a C-USA player, let alone ACC player. The other is a 6-8 PF who has good size (6-8, 255) but his skills make Akpejori look like Karl Malone, and his name is even harder to pronounce.
