He gets the same chance to talk to teams at the Combine.

I always like the Seniors to play in the Senior Bowl because, yes, it's another chance to showcase yourself. Don't begrudge them not doing though.
 
Willis is a 1st round talent that could slip bc this draft is stacked with DLinemen and he has the "past" that teams will most definitely dive into.

If he drops to the 2nd, i'm running to the podium for him (the player). I can't speak for the person.
 
Third round is his floor.

A smart team will snap him up late first, but either way, I don’t think he makes it past the second round.

If I had to put money on it I’d say somewhere mid second round

I'm not begrudging him but seeing idiots talking about his past even now makes me just want him to prove himself more but the injury aspect does matter so I understand

Depends on if a team that uses a 3 technique with a need at DT is on the clock mid-late first round. Is there a better tackle in the draft at playing the Sapp attacking style? I don't see one.

Wilkins, Oliver and Gary would go ahead of him there IMHO. Look Willis is a beast, and should have a solid career but this class is just stacked. Any other year and he is a first rounder easy.
 
Anyone that thinks Willis is a definite 1st rounder are idiots, or simply don't know how deep this DL draft class is. Its ******* loaded. Very easy for him to be a 2nd-3rd rounder, especially if he is healthy and purposely skipping the Senior Bowl practices. That would be a dumb move on his part, he has more to gain than lose by participating.

In fact I'd say its more likely Willis is a 3rd or 4th rounder than a 1st rounder.

Those guys are all better prospects but didn't play in a Tampa 2 style where you have Booger plug the middle and Sapp go up-field for the QB. We havent seen how those guys games would translate. Not to mention they will all be gone by pick 15.
 
Willis, Quinnen Williams, Ed Oliver, Christian Wilkins, Dexter Lawrence, Jeffrey Simmons, Dre'Mont Jones, Rashard Lawrence......that's sick.

If you need a DT, it's a good year to solve that problem. Guys who would normally be long gone will slide.

I’m basing it off how they are projected to test but point taken on them all going early enough that if there is a need for that 3 tech late in the 1st Willis would sneak in.

Not on your life, has a big time agent might be Rosenhaus, not sure though. You have to be slotted for the 7th round or UDFA to sign on with 7th round. Think players saw what happened to Kendrick and are smart enough to get quality representation = if they can,

That is good to hear. I saw Petey made a post saying Gerald was signing up with them. A tear almost came to my eye seeing that. I am glad to see he is no longer with them.
