Don't doubt we are more talented. **** Miss St. is to but if you do not execute on a given night then you are going to get beat this day and age. Miss St had the box jammed last night and GaTech still ran for 400+.
 
The interesting fact is how much better they have gotten since they FIRED Al's mentor and creator of his famous defense as DC. Guess Paul is not as stupid as he looks.

Johnson knows how to squeeze the very most out of his roster, and will make changes to his staff when needed. That is why his team has won the ACC and been to multiple ACCCGs.

And he actually has a right to be arrogant about his style of play ... He's actually won with it, at a fairly high level.

And he does it at GT, which is an academic institution ... and plays "little brother" to UGA ...
 
Folden: Joe, we would have been lucky to win 3.6 games in 2014. We won 6, which means we had a great season. We're Trending, Joe.
 
Paul Johnson used to have Al Groh as a defensive coordinator, who used the same defensive scheme we use. As soon as Johnson put an axe to that ****, they haven't looked back.

They got better because he has the perfect QB now for his system, not because he scapegoated a Corch.
 
yeah, you cant undervalue how important the QB making the proper reads for this system is, after they lost josh nesbitt they seemed to get worse now they have another good QB running the show

GT isn't even UGAs little brother. They shouldn't be on the same field really. It's a credit to their coach that they get some wins. Put Goldens *** their and GT goes 0 wins against UGA. Johnson isn't an elite coach but he is great a taking a mid tier team to their limits. He does a good job with what he has. Also GT is a legit school not a faux Harvard of the south.

LOL, so Miami is not an academic institution? Lets not kid ourselves here, very few of the D1 programs apply the same academic standards to the football players as they do to the non-athletic applicants. Most players can't even speak proper english for Christ's sake.
