Richt had a bunch of dominate teams, then he would hit the snooze button in a rivalry game or big showdown.

Smart though, he's a good one and doing his thing on the recruiting trail. Very good hire by them even though most of the morons here said he would suck.

Kirby is doing a great job but he's winning with a veteran loaded team... let's see how he continues to look once Coach Richts players start graduating and or move on to the draft.

Yeah I agree it's a good hire but we can see even with FSU how every year is different regardless of preseason hype from the year before. Just bc you replace someone like Dalvin Cook with another 5 star in Cam Akers doesn mean the production is going to immediately be at the same level.

Kirby got the keys to a Bentley. Richt won 19 games his last two years and a lot of those guys are upperclassman now. Not saying he isnt a great coach but, hiccups aside last year, UGA has long been in a position to contend

The difference is Offensive Line & overall Depth.

They have one of the best OL's in the Nation & a loaded Defense as well.

I never believed Miami was going to the playoffs this year anyway, but I'm beyond happy with our season.

We're not a dominant program yet, but we're getting there.

I 100% believe we'll win a Natty for the 2018 season though. Call me a homer, but I truly think we get #6 next year.

As for this year, all I wanted was a Coastal title & good Bowl game, and if we beat Va Tech we'll get that.
Everything else is just icing on the cake.

They have an infinitely better strength program now too. They are physically punishing everyone on their schedule.

The last time we physically looked elite was when Tommy Moffitt revamped the S&C program.

Sorry but we are not winning the title in 18 with this Offense. You’re being a homer. Unless, CMR brings in a quality OC or has a magical QB next year, ain’t happening.
