Tears Georgia Puppy Dog tears

I did my post grad at Ga. Most of my close friends are UGA. One still lives in Athens... If you are familiar with the Eddie Murphy sketch where he talks about Italians after watching Rocky. That is, to a tee, how Ga fans are. And I constantly remind them. They win a game and they will cut you off in traffic.
 
These dorks are just Bama without the long period of sustained greatness. They’ve been a second tier SEC team for most of the last three decades before having a mini run with Kirby when they could buy players. Now they’re staring at a 17th ranked class wondering what happened. Congrats, UGA, you’re recruiting at an Al Golden level.

Well, I personally do prefer Athens over Clemson, but that's mostly because Clemson is just so tiny. But I have a major personal bias against Clemson because my BIL went there and we have beef, so I acknowledge that is my issue.

Athens is fine, I just don't see why it always gets "best college town ever" all the time. I think it's coasting on its rep from the music scene in the 90s, which doesn't really exist anymore. Now the bars are just..bars.

I also don't think the campus is that pretty, and it bothers me that it's kind of spread out and undefined.

I know y'all hate me for this, but I do think Gainesville is a better college town than Athens. I get why y'all don't like Gainesville though.

Yeah, like the beginning part of it where they have the gate is pretty, but then it just ...kinda feels unfinished and blah. But that's kind of how Athens as a town is too.

WTF a F**king ignorant c** t. Obviously this D**k has never set foot on Campus, or been to HR for a game. I did my post grad work at UGA in the 80’s. Got to ride the Herschel train. It was great for the state and Athens. But, this little ***** is whinny bc the Canes are the big Dogs, and looking for ways to justify their s**tty recruiting, Be Better you C**t. It’s a Dawg eat Dawg world, man up or STFU. GO CANES🙌🏽

This bich hass crying from some of the most blatant rule benders just annoys the **** outa me. UGA, Bama, FSU, Ohio, LSU. All them. Crying. If it was all about development, why dont u develop them 3 stars and shut tf up. If one of our fans posted some $hyt like that, am charmin on they hass, pause. Talking bout only players who played well as FR ended up being anything at Miami. What kinda retarded logic is that? Its called scouting and evaluation. I guess Anez Cooper wasnt developed since he came in and started 4 years as something like the #800 ranked player. And Mesidor who spent most of his career at Miami and was a DT before working with JT. And UGA took WRs we recruited to Miami, like Lawrence Cager and Colbie Young. Then they spend bunch of money to get Branch from USC. Where was your development then bich? That little run over with, go cry to someone who care.

Don’t worry,.. their pi**poor recruiting and lack of player development is a suicide mission for their program. Man, they were riding the big Dawg and dropping big bags, when they should have worked harder on recruiting and player development. Mario learned those lessons and practiced them, and here we are. Lived in Ga. for 25+ yrs, got family that are UGA, did some post grad work there, and still have good memories. But f**k em. #GOCANES🙌🏽.

This is a ridiculous thing to argue about. People have different opinions and preferences. I already said that I get why y’all don’t like Gainesville. I lived there for two years and had an amazing time. And now I’ve lived an hour from Athens for well over a decade. Athens is cool, and we go about every year or so. I just personally preferred being close to the springs and the beach, and I liked the campus and town of Gainesville better.

But I also get if others like Athens better, because I know that I am biased because I went to school there for two years, and my husband and I got engaged and married during that time, so there’s a bit of nostalgia there for me as well. It was a really great time in my life.
