U can really see how envious of the players getting paid people are. I will say it again NIL is not the problem, yes they need to figure out what value is or cap or whatever but the real issue is the portal. The way these teams are complaining because they dont want to adapt to continue winning is what we did and let the sport pass us by. I been winning this way, am comfortable, why should i change? Thats the mentality that makes u become irrelevant for a decade, then 2, then almost 3 like Nebraska.

Agreed, the issue is the portal. If guys couldn't move as easily, it diminishes the power of NIL and tampering, while still letting players get paid.

Precisely if players cant transfer every season, you cant entice them into the portal with money. I think i support John Calapari strategy, 1 free transfer after that it goes back to what it was before where you sit out. Either that, or make players sign contracts thats enforceable.
