It was a brotherly affair at
Miami for the
Pittsburgh game.
All eyes were on nation's No. 1 EDGE
DJ Jacobs and his younger brother
Dawson Jacobs. DJ is still committed to
Ohio State, and he hasn't come off that publicly in any capacity. That said, the Jacobs family is still taking visits, and this was an opportunity — during his family's fall break — to get down to
Florida, and specifically to Coral Gables for the game. The Jacobs family is still at Miami as this is written, so an ongoing conversation will be had coming out of the weekend.
Miami is seen as the biggest threat to Ohio State's chances with DJ at this time.
The Jacobs family wasn't the only set of brothers at Miami for the weekend. So, too, were McEachern (Ga.) 2028 twins Cole and
Quinn Pollock.
"My favorite part was definitely the atmosphere at the game. Miami is a great program in a great city with great fans. They looked really strong on both sides of the ball. It was also great getting to spend time with the coaches and staff," Cole told 247Sports. "Miami is one of the schools I'm most interested in. I like the direction of the program and the relationships I'm building with the coaching staff. I definitely want to keep growing those relationships and learning more about Miami as the process continues."
"The atmosphere in Hard Rock Stadium was great. The fans brought so much energy and it was great to see how good the defense and the whole team looked. I appreciated the hospitality from the coaches and staff. Being in Miami for our birthday made it especially memorable," Quinn said. "Miami is definitely high on my list. I really like the program and I'm excited to keep building an even stronger relationship with the coaches. I'm looking forward to staying connected and seeing where things go."
