Georgia getting nervous 🤣

when realus was offered I told y’all he was a bully. I saw him play several times at Pace. His film is nowhere close to how powerful he is on the field. He reminds me a lot of Nesta. He is all power and just bullies guys over.

Some of these guys would have gone to UGA, but in the end, Kirby couldn’t close the deal against Bama, with 33 Seniors that had been recruited by Mark Richt.

Kirby had the Natty in his effing hands and let it slip away. You don’t do that on National Television and have it not effect recruiting.

Yes, Richt got beat up by Clemson and lost to Wisconsin, but a bunch of his guys were injured and his quarterback couldn’t score in a Bangkok whorehouse in those games. Kirby didn’t have either of those excuses.

Even if they won that game it wouldnt change a thing, they were 10 minutes away from a title. Kids dont give a fuq its where they are comfortable and what the school has to offer, Texas hasnt done a **** thing and they may have a top 5 class. This argument of winning contradicts itself yearly so u cant hold onto the winning argument or us losingthe last 3 games because if we get them all then the losses didnt matter. If we beat out everyone like a bama and uga its because of relationships and what we have to offer to those kids and things we dont see, the staff is pushing hard and know what it takes they just have to close and if they do expect the same type of finish regularly no matter if we win or lose.

Consistency is also a big thing to. Bama's consistently at the number 1 spot in recruiting, because these kids know they'll win there. UGA is in unchartered waters now. But as you've said, relationships and other factors are a bigger part than just winning.

Never ceases to amaze me how much pride and passion for The U out of state guys like Deejay, Realus and Colbert have versus the S. Florida traitorous front runners who have spurned us over the years.

Sad really.

because the out of state guys arent tainted. I lived here all my life...and the amount of "hate" um gets by a lot of these kids old optomist coaches, high school coaches, friends is absurd. When your good folks really just hate..because everyone likes u..Well thats what s.fla is...FOR EXAMPLE the Miami Hear had the big 3 with lebron, etc..i had friends that would argue that the heat were sorry..., lebron aint that good, etc..guys that never gave2 fu*cks about the heat all of a sudden was **** Vitale and John Wooden wrapped into one..just cause the local population LIked the heat. Well we get it...it reared back when we went on the lil run of beating vt, and Nd. The out of staters dont have to deal with that

You are absolutely correct, and I know that first hand. Grew up in the 305 and saw it among my peers firsthand. The loyalty to the U was still sketchy even in the 80s. Some were diehard and others down right rooted against Miami.

Couldn't understand it until later as I saw two things: 1) so many transplant families in S. Florida who have zero ties to UM, and 2) as you stated, so many of the optimist coaches held grudges against the U and spread that mindset down to their players.

Add in all of the handlers and mercenaries who fester down in S. Florida, and then you get what we get each year -- a mix of loyal diehards along with kids just looking for the best bag.

And it's not like that anywhere else that I've lived. Richt is turning the tide, but no matter how much he wins, he will not get full fledge loyalty among the top recruits. Just won't happen.

I'm liking Realus even more now.. 33 seniors and they still blew it.. Man Kirby gonna be in trouble this year..

Didn't know they had that many seniors. If so, that's going to be pretty **** hard to replace.

Yep...I always laugh when people say " win and they will come". bs. Cats will still go where they think they fit in plain and simple. You will miss on guys regardless. If you have an elite coach it don't matter cause they will get good/great players regardless.

and Realus should know when they won their last natty in the 80s as he was a mear young chap in those days hawking tickets in front Of the stadium iin Athens

When UGA won that 'ship in 1980, Realus was sitting in the barbershop reminiscing about the 1942 team that last brought home the title

Not important but my cousin Played on that team with Frankie Sinkwich and Charlie Trippi. He got banged up on D-Day.
