I live 30 minutes from Athens. It's different. Georgia has been average since the mid 80's so fans have forgot or never knew how good they were. Plus it is the bible belt and Richt is still loved by all. Lastly, even though Georgia enjoys winning, the outcome is just part of the overall experience, whereas at Miami it is all or nothing. In other words, they have better fans.

None of that is true

None of that is true

Living just outside of Athens now I would agree with you that there is no love for Richt. I am constantly reminded that they are happy we have him now.

As far as the winning mentality, they have never really been a powerhouse year after year championship caliber program. So they have had the appearance of just enjoying and putting up with results that a true old school Hurricane fan would never be okay with.

we have had 3 great years in the past 24 years.

Bobby Bowden was Mark’s mentor. It took Bobby like 19 years to win a title at FSU, maybe those dog fans thought that was how long it takes so mark got free ride. Canes don’t play that so Mark has already punched his ticket to Century Village for the end of next year; he just doesn’t know it yet. Also, SEC has always been mostly Bama when it comes to NCs. The other schools only have a couple titles together, so they are us to NOT winning them.

5 Nattys and should be more. Granted our last decade and a half have been horrendous...our overall pedigree is greater than Georgia. I threw in the old school canes part cause you have to have been around a while to have that mentality

Go to one of their home games. Miami cant touch Georgia's gameday experience, and Miami's empty stadium speaks for itself and is a reason why we lose out on many recruits.

In big games our atmosphere blows almost everything away. In small games... well, if you’re more worried about game atmospheres vs Duke then you’re maybe dizzy off cok fumes

Big games, lol

Ok SEC shill.

Maybe you don’t think Miami ever plays in big games. Whatever games they were it had a more electric atmosphere than Athens ever did. I’ve never really ever heard anyone even mention the place being loud.

Don't need to ask them we've put up with a bunch of it for 18 years.Georgia got wise but we are still stuck in it.

They were okay with being consistently very good but not great. Considering what they went through with coaches after Dooley. Its us where its conference championship game or bust. At UGA, they just wanted to be in the top 10 for the part and see good football.

Richt was better there than here. He was old when he was here and just wasn't good
