I live 30 minutes from Athens. It's different. Georgia has been average since the mid 80's so fans have forgot or never knew how good they were. Plus it is the bible belt and Richt is still loved by all. Lastly, even though Georgia enjoys winning, the outcome is just part of the overall experience, whereas at Miami it is all or nothing. In other words, they have better fans.

They don't have better fans. Those fans are for the most part alums. They don't see the team the same way a uga fan who went to a different college sees it. Miami has a lot of fans who never went to the U. It's a national fanbase. Like ND, winning is everything. Winning is important at UGA but it's not everything although their expectations have increased over the years as has Clemson.
