6. Blake James got himself fired by being an incompetent prick who didn’t even understand an endorsement contract he signed!

7. If u want to blame both Diaz & James for getting fired, blame Kirk Herbstreit blasting us on a Nationally Televised show.

8. Pretty sure UGA fans ran their most successful coach in their modern era out the door, in Mark Richt b/c he wasn’t “winning” enough.

9. He’s mad b/c he knows the days of Smart coming into So Fla cherry picking players r over.

This point is getting overlooked. He's been in the program for 6 years. Our defense was ranked 77th this year. We had to play a 6th year converted LB'er at DE. A walk on got significant reps at LB. The defense was a mess, and that's supposed to be Manny's specialty. I do give him credit for hiring Lashlee and for some of the guys he brought in from the portal. Otherwise this is the end of an unforced error.

“Expectation vs. reality doesn’t match”? Is this jabronie legit retarded?

We’ve won 5 National Titles in football since 1983, and played for a number of other titles. Only in the last 15 years have we fallen off the map, due to incompetence and cronyism by our Admin and BoT.

Georgia hasn’t won anything since before we became a household name. So tell me again who has the unrealistic expectations when it comes to “expectations vs. reality.”

Dude is nervous and mad scared because the gravy train to Jawja is about to end.

Ya I've been saying Miami and Tennessee were essentially looking in a mirror there for a long time. They peaked in 1998 and rode a few more years into the sunset with Fulmer than we sustained with Coker - they were relevant up to 2007 and we fizzled out in 2005.

Both made similar lazy hires for a long time - they have money but blow it everywhere else except for where it matters - coaching salaries. They're trying to win the facilities battle and keep up there with programs with way more money and it's sinking them.

If they would just let Neyland be what it is, cut the facilities budget almost in half, keep them decent but not top of the line renovations every 2-3 years... and hire a HC worth $7-8M they would make some kind of comeback.

Just like they think their program is better because they have 100k in their seats and their stadium gets loud - they think facilities win games.
 
Outside the program, a lot of people, not fans of FSU or Florida, just neutral, think he should have been given more time. Personally, I think he'll be a good coach at some point. Cristobal made a lot of mistakes elsewhere. Miami doesn't have the patience for that. With the recruiting advantage he should bring, there should be such a talent difference that it could possibly compensate for Cristobal's yearly WTF-loss, and get Miami consistently to the ACCCG.
