Do you not understand how quotes work? At no point did the reporter say that. he started by saying "media or whomever else will maybe want to make conclusions" then says "there are people that will say" and finally concludes with "I hear that everyday on the radio"

So he goes from people might say it, to people will say it, to I hear it everyday. And again I think MR needed to make big time staff changes and botched our QB situation so I am not a slurper but credit where it is due.

You also asked about the 12 million and for another smarta$$ answer to which my response would be it is 11 mil if you deduct the 1 mil he donated towards the IPF ;)

but in all seriousness, a young hungry coach likely doesn't come into UM and get the BOT and fundraising together to make that happen and also delivered our first coastal championship which is disgusting to say but it is a fact that Shannon and Golden never got us.

He is getting almost $500K per win. Good work if you can get it. ****, he is making almost as much as Nick Satan per win.

CMR won many many many big games at UGA. So, let's just put that ***goty baby to bed right now.

CMR's pay finds him on pace with other coaches at other big programs in the ACC. Additionally, you don't nor do I know what he's making. Did you know Golden was making $150,000 a year when he was here? I'm sure you didn't.

CMR has won big games here, contrary to whatever you're trying to say about him. A much more reasonable critique of the man is can he put a full season together? Can he take Miami to the playoffs?

Of course he can.

One more point...firing CMR now would do far more damage to this program than giving him another 2-3 to see what he can do. You do realize this basic business concept yes?

Last thing because I can tell you're yearning for more information...

The offense was good enough for 10 games last season to stay ranked 30th or better in the country. And that was good enough to get Miami to #2 WITH A BASEBALL PLAYER FOR A QB.
Go back and watch the excitement that the national press had to have the Canes back. Go back and see how quickly everybody forgets about the last decade and a half when we show a pulse.

I am a firm believer that CMR will succeed here and that Miami will win a ring in the next 5 years.

He wasn't man enough to say coach seems like you can't win the big game...he did coward ****. And you're slurping the reporter for being a coward. Gotcha.

The reporter was being a punk. Richt told him, if you think I suck, tell me to my face and I’ll address it. If he couldn’t say it to his face, he wasn’t going to play that high school game that someone else said whatever.

So if he got an extra 2 yards against Bama in 2012 and routed Notre Dame in the championship game then what? He played in the quarter finals last year and was in the hunt a few years at Georgia. Much more than u can say about 80% of coaches out there
 
Pretty sure you guys are giving this guy too much credit by calling him a reporter.. If i am not mistaken that was Atlanta sports talk radio personality Chuck Oliver.. I remember him bringing it up countless times on the radio when i used to live in Atlanta. Oliver has some crazy college football memory, but he is still pretty much just a typical southern college football blowhard- not some intelligent reporter.

Yes the reporter was being a sly, underhanded punk. Totally unprofessional...And Richt fixed him right up and let him know about while doing it with class.
