This guys doesn’t know ****. There is no way Stefan’s info was that far off. Applewhite may or may not ultimately be the next OC but I have a real hard time believing he “was never considered”.
 
Bottom line, letting Briles get away was a huge mistake, especially to FSU

Yost would have been huge, he's getting $600k at Texas Tech, but he's also going to be with Wells still

Tim Albin wouldn't be a bad look although he's big on the run game

It has been a rollercoaster ride of a week for a lot of Canes fans.

Being a mope really has its benefits at this point.

He turned down the unc oc job reportedly. Maybe didn’t believe in Mack or waiting on another opportunity. Have to kick the tires on this guy at the very least.

I know I'll get beat up by Chise and others over saying this, but... I wouldn't be mad if it was Fisch. I don't think he's perfect for every team and situation, but I think he would kill it here with Manny's leadership.

Since we're 6 days into the search, I'm also good with not having to hear "lazy hire" any more.
 
Wow sounds like a bunch of women cackling over who has the better outfit or makeup. The press doesn’t know for certain what the heck is going on so they’re reaching, which is getting the fans all excited. Let’s just wait until this mystery person interviews and see where Manny goes from there.
 
Know for a fact that Applewhite was in advanced discussions regarding the role. Buddy of mine is on the UT staff here in Austin and worked with Major at Houston

I'm actually surprised many of you guys haven't mentioned Brian Wright, we've seen the offense there first hand (Toledo) and most of you were nervous as **** about that attack...well that's what you get when you place a so called high powered offense against an elite defense. Shut down...same your gonna get from many of the names you're mentioning.
If you want success now, we don't need a guy who has a high powered offense, but never in his career coached against elite defenses. We'll get schooled again in 2019. We need a guy with experience, who has seen what it takes to win against elite teams.

You won't find that with the names I've seen thrown around on CIS.
