I really don't care about the numbers. We filled so many needs with so many studs, DL and CB stick out.... feels good. Not letting UF's success today (they had a **** of a class), dampen ours.

We were ranked #1 in 2008 and we went 29 - 22 in the last 4 years. Shut up.

The 2008 class wasnt very diverse. We had like 10 OLB and 10 WR that year.

And UF went # 1 in 2009 and went 6-6 in 2011.

The top 15 is a big crapshoot... any of those team can succeed.

Which site is that from?

We were #1 in 2008... and we were #1 or close to it in 2004 also if I recall. Neither of those worked out that great so it's not a huge deal anyways. This class is solid and something to build off of.

Rivals has us 8 and UF 3.

Agreed.

Honestly, with all the **** that went down this past season, 8 is unbelievable. We finished ahead of LSU, Oklahoma, etc.

Exactamundo my friend. While rankings DO matter, the exact placement is just a dice roll really. As long as you are grouped up there with the best, you can WIN. Any year, I am happy to be somewhere in the top 10, but you might be right, top 15 is all good.

Not bad after a 6-6 season and the Shapiro garbage.

If you dont develop these high school kids who have never played CFB then it doesnt matter what the ranking are.

Boise and TCU....somewhere in the 20s.

While Alabama is #1.

Who knows anymore.

I just want to win whether with 5 star studs or 3 star go-getters.

Rivals 2009 rankings = 1) Alabama and 2) LSU

That worked out pretty well... but that is probably not the norm.
