The coaching has been worse then Diaz and company. The Gattis/Mario combo is worse then Dan Enos and Pat Nix.

A different HC would have this talent looking much different, especially offensively.

Agree about the coaching and talent. Neither are good. I don't think most of us thought this was a 10-win roster. However, this is 8-9-win roster with our current schedule. Clemson is the only team clearly head and shoulders above us. Texas A&M looked good on paper, but are clearly overrated. UNC has a good qb, but is very young with terrible defense. We will be lucky to win 6 games. That's more on the coaching.

There is a time and place for a designed run with a slow qb. Gattis is not calling them at the right times. The only times I've seen designed runs work for slow qb's is when that team is winning and trying to run the clock. Can sometimes catch the defense being extra aggressive and overflow to the running back thinking the offense will hand the ball off to rb and keep the clock ticking.

the talent on O is underwhelming.

We can't line up and run for half a yard against DUKE or MIDDLE TENNESSEE STATE, and now our paper-thin OL is banged up.

Our best RB is a 190-lb power back with average speed.

Teams can sit in cover 2 shells with zero fear of our run game.

As for WR, Colbie Young is already our best player and he got here 5 minutes ago. Restrepo was WR1, and he's hurt.

Nobody has come close to replacing Rambo's production.

We did better on that last year and our coaches weren’t “OL specialists” lol. We were supposed to have had the best two oline coaches in the nation on staph & we cannot get a yard . Didn’t Mirabal (spelling?) say he would cut his arm off if OL was the weakest unit on the team?!! Lol

We haven't been able to move ANYONE for a yard for years. Bunching up and continuing to try it is idiocy. That's on the staff.
