I’ve made numerous posts and even started threads saying it’s ‘everything.’ I’m far from the group seeing this as ‘either/or.’ It just seems like you’re minimizing how ****** we’ve been made to look. Remember, some of these guys didn’t look THIS ****** just last year. Again, square pegs, round holes.

You mentioned Rambo earlier in the thread. I’ve argued on CIS and told you off the board that I think he’d look worse this year than he did just last season. We can’t prove that either way, but I don’t see anything easy in our current setup.

The stuff Gattis put on tape at Michigan wasn't this bad.

Something is way off, and it goes beyond one thing.

Their players don’t fumble the ball 8 times a game and blow coverages. Their players play like they like football and want to win at it, ours don’t,

That ain’t coaching, that’s garbage culture and it’s on the players

We also didn't continue to fumble and give Duke a short field, have an oline a that couldn't hold up in a Pop Warner game...

We beat them how badly last year with mostly the same players? It's ALL coaching. Coaches instill discipline, period. Mario talks a tough game, but dude can't coach. 8 million a year, yeah, it's on coaches to earn their money and get the most out of their players.

So Mario is good enough to beat Ohio St (Gattis, too), but they’re mystified by Duke?

Talent is a serious issue. If it weren’t, Manny would still be here.

Coaches have not done a good job, but we overrate the **** out of our talent.

lol we could've done all that last year and still rolled them. thats the point. even if they put up their current point total, wed still win lol

We absolutely have enough talent to have beat them this year. Lost in all this is the fact that Duke still stinks. They aren't good. Some people on here acting like they are this crazy, improved, good team now. Although they are slightly improved, they are still a bad team. They will probably win 7 games this year as they still have VT and Boston College left. They have an easier schedule than we do. Here is who Duke has beat so far this season.

Game 1. (W) Duke - 30, Temple - 0. (Temple currently 2-5)
Game 2. (W) Duke - 31, Northwestern - 23 (Northwestern currently 1-6)
Game 3. (W) Duke - 49, NC A&T - 20 (NC A&T currently 4-3, FCS school)
Game 4. (L) Duke - 27, Kansas -35 (Kansas currently 5-3)
Game 5. (W) Duke -38, Virginia -17 (UVA currently 3-4)
Game 6. (L) Duke -20, Georgia Tech - 23 (GT currently 3-4)
Game 7. (L) Duke -35, North Carolina -38 (UNC currently 6-1)
Game 8. (W) Duke -45, Miami - 21 (Miami currently 3-4)

So basically, Duke has beat one team with a winning record which was an FCS school. They have beaten the crappy teams that they should beat. Unlike us, they are making the most of their schedule. Their most difficult game will be Wake Forest at the end of the year. What a joke.

Miami had Rambo and Harley last year who were light years ahead of anyone catching the ball this far in ‘22. C’mon now.
