Exactly!! They don’t want to admit to themselves that Beck is the best QB they will see this season and this offensive line is the best offensive line they will see this season and they have zero ability to get pressure.

Carson has only been pressured 11 times out of 86 drop backs. I can’t see Florida getting more than 3-4 pressures this game and we all know that Beck is one of the top 5 most accurate QB since 2019 when throwing from a clean pocket. I know Carson will be dialed in, I full expect to see 300+ yards and 3 touchdowns.

Dmoney you may mean well, but It sounds like you are scared listening to these so call pundits about geicos being a bad team. We have a team now that we’ve been waiting for for 20 plus years. Those two touchdowns were against offenses with no pulse either. We will know what the gator defense looks like after seeing our real offense Saturday night. Gators are average guys. Cmon fellas really. Go CANES!!
 
They are backed into a corner, its a rivalry, they desperately need a win, but I have to believe the veterans are already seeing the writing on the wall of "new year/same story w/Coach"

So weather the initial rivalry/energy/etc, punch them in the mouth and they will start to give up.

TrumpyCane doesn't think it means much if they don't respect the coach

This is one of those games we’re Beck should eat so much he will be ready to burst at half time and need to take a nap in the second half. Running the ball is playing into their hands. I really hope Dawson gives Beck a seat right next the buffet and tells him to f ship up.

It's a rivalry game with a team that has one last stand from the season completely falling apart. They know if Billy is fired, it will all be blown up. That makes for a dangerous opponent. Stay focused, 1 game at a time. We have a veteran team with a great culture.

They’re also giving up almost 5 yards per rush. Ram it down their throats (NO PAUSE) and force them to load the box then let Beck eat.

No dbs can cover for 6 seconds. You don’t have to play slow ball. We want to destroy them.

Yup. I don't even know if they are "bad team" given they're lost to two ranked opponents. But either way they have plenty of talent.
 
Is this Napier’s last stand? How many last stands has he had? At what point do his players realize this guy ain’t it? At what point do they just start freelancing and trying to get film for either the NFL or a transfer? That’s why I’m not sure this doesn’t turn into a blowout quickly. We get a couple quick scores and I think we put 50-60 up on them.

Florida has much more talent but are at an extreme disadvantage when it comes to coaching. Throw in an in-state rivalry with the upgrade in talent, where there’s significant motivation, and you have a potentially dangerous situation if you come out flat.

The importance of not giving them hope from the start and being dialed in will be everything.

Aaaaaaand you have a desperate coach who might be willing to try everything to win given their upcoming schedule, and to give the fanbase a little bragging rights nugget.

USF is a sneaky talented team. I'd put their WRs up against most team's honestly. Their OL is solid and experienced. They have a dynamic if flawed QB. They have some guys on D that could help us. I think at the end of the season they'll be top 25.

I wonder if Fletcher took a nap last week when he went like 3.5 hours between carries but continued dad ****ing the Bulls nonetheless.
