It was the third overtime of a road game with a freshman QB making his first start. He made a bad decision. Its a two point conversion play. He tried to put it up to Colbie Young hoping he'd come down with it. Bad decision but nothing that warrants the hate he's gotten from the subset of the fanbase that posts here.


The kid has talent and will very likely develop into a good D1 QB. Im just hopeful that it happens at UM.

Oh i agree. I was just trying to bring accuracy but what i will say is that his interceptions have been of an egregious nature. There is a difference between an int due to a good defensive play and one where it looks like the qb has no idea what he is looking at.

I expect 4 wins next year, 6 at absolute maximum. This is going to be a VERY young team with minimal cohesion. 2024 should get us back to 7 wins. 2025 and onward should hopefully be the quantum leap.

If we somehow take a step back with the addition of TVD, an actual OC and portal players it's just not meant to be with Mario. Not expecting to be in the ACC championship game but just beating a Duke and MTSU gets us to 7 wins.
 
When was the last time both these teams had such bad defenses. The secondary's are absolute trash.

Portal players can be hit and miss.

It all comes down to OL. Barring successful portal transfers, we’re starting 3 freshmen next year. Which is a low starting point - we may not be much better than this year because of the lack of S&C and youth. So without a viable line, nothing else works.

With the schedule next year 4-6 wins is a great guess. I think vegas puts us around 6 if we nail it in the portal

3 freshman is alot I can see 2 if we get Samson. Even if we strike out on the portal though I'm sure the other starters will be clark, Rivers and Cooper. I just think Mario will lose all momentum with 4 wins no way he brings in another top class.
