I don't think this FSU team is anything special, but I can see Norvell having a lot of these kinds of seasons. I just don't think they can recruit above this level in their current incarnation. But do agree...the variance might have them as a 7-5 type squad mixed in there during bad luck seasons. 9-3, 10-2 on a good luck season.

IMO, the first level bosses we need to beat is that middle class of the ACC. We are bottom of that middle class, flirting with foreclosure, and the first canaries in the coalmine for our ascent to the top of the ACC will be when we consistently field teams that beat these 9-3 type ACC teams. We've gotten embarrassed by FSU two years in a row (4-9 in the past 13 seasons), We haven't beaten UNC in 4. 2-2 versus Duke in 4. 3-2 versus Virginia in 5. 2-2 w GT in 4. Starting winning those games and then we're going somewhere.

Nevermind the 0-4 with four absolute *** kicking by Clemson at the top of the conference.
